Despite having to negotiate through the thick canopies of the forest and the roof, the rain was still managing to infiltrate the outlaws' camp. To Marian it seemed the main point of access was her bunk.

She had been forced right to the very edge of her pallet to avoid the steady trickle of water but her bedding was now completely sodden. Marian sighed and sat up. She couldn't sleep here.

Taking her one still dry blanket with her, she stood up and crept across the camp to where Robin lay, sleeping soundly and thankfully, thoroughly dry.

A gentle shake and a whispered name was all it took to wake him.

"Marian?"

"Your stupid camp has a leak, my bunk is soaking wet so I cannot get to sleep," she told him, prodding him in the shoulder. "Move over."

His eyes widened slightly at this, but he didn't object and shifted onto his side to make room for her to lie next to him.

"You're freezing," Robin informed her.

"I can go to Much's bunk if you prefer…"

He pulled her closer to him and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"No?" she asked, pulling away.

"No" he agreed.
