Kronos and his wife, Rhea, had several children known as the gods. There was Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hera, and Hestia. But Rhea had a seventh child, which no one ever knew about. Cosmos, the God of the Universe and Stars. Kronos learned that his children would overthrow him, thus eating Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hera and Hestia. Zeus was hidden away by Rhea to be raised on Crete. But Cosmos suffered a different fate. The forgotten god was sealed away in time itself by Kronos. Locked away till' a time the Titan was sure he would do no harm. To the year 2000, January 1st, at exactly 12:00 AM. Time passed. The Titans were overthrown as predicted by the gods, ending the Golden Age. Now it was the time of the gods, a glorious age. The Greeks were overthrown, the Romans took over. The Romans fell from the seat of power. The gods had lived a joyous immortal life themselves, giving no second thought to another god that might be out there. Until the New Year of 1000 AD. Cosmos, still a baby, was freed from his prison. He simply fell out of the sky to where the Titan Fortress used to be. Mount Othrys, which, (at the time) was where Atlas was serving the eternal torture of holding up the sky. How odd that must have been, to watch an infant fall from the heavens face-first into the ground. Cosmos was slightly baffled of course, not knowing any better as a child. But young gods are slightly more intelligent than mortal children. He stood up, looked Atlas directly in the eye, walked towards him, and jabbed him sharply in the thigh with his stubby forefingers. After millions of years imprisoned under the sky, Atlas was somewhat sensitive to pain. He cried out, and at this the toddler lashed at him again and again with his fingers. Playfully, he picked up a small rock and threw it at Atlas. So forceful was the throw of this godling, it impaled the Titan just below his neck, breaking the skin. Once again, Atlas winced under the sharp pain as golden ichor, the blood of an immortal, spilled forth from the wound. Cosmos clapped his hands together and gave Atlas a toothy grin, then began to proceed on his way down the mountain. A moment of shock came over the Titan, rendering him speechless as he watched his distant cousin joyfully trot along the margins of Mount Othrys.
