Disclaimer- I own absolutely none of this just the idea I s'pose anyways enjoy.
Looking into her mirror she watched the wolf demon named Kouga declare his love for Kagome, yet again. She also watched as he fought the half breed, Inuyasha. She was even watching as he once more lost (AN: Because really both Kouga and Inuyasha lose) and even when he was racing off towards who knows where. As always when she watched this particular demon, she questioned her emotions and the things she felt until she came across a emotion she felt utterly foreign to (AN: Since she came from Naraku and was his first "child" she felt his emotions from when he the human bandit.) she questioned love.
"What is love?" She questioned, her voice sounding even more hollow in the cave she said it.
"Well it's when you feel jittery at the sight or thought of the person, or you can't wait to see them. Even when you haven't seen them in forever, you still remember their face." Kanna started when she heard the rough voice respond and she turned slightly to look at the wolf tanning beside her.
"What are you doing here?" The albino questioned as she turned back towards the opening of the cave.
"Eh, I sensed a Naraku presence this way, thought it was Kagura but turns out it was you." Kouga responded with a kind of half shrug before looking over at her,
"You won't attack without a command." It wasn't a question just an observation, but it was correct. He stood beside the pale demon and looked out at the huge forest that lay ahead
"Beautiful isn't it?" The male demon spoke once again and the pale child responded with a nod before turning to the wolf,
"Why are you here Kouga?" She asked, truly curious.
"I'm here 'cause you're here Kanna." The wolf responded, looking at Kanna through the corner of his eye,
"Why are you here?" Kouga questioned and Kanna looked at him, she responded with a huff,
"Because I can." Silence filled the air around the two demons as they thought.
"I thought….I thought void demons felt nothing." Kouga questioned and Kanna sighed tiredly,
"Void demons, we feel so much emotions that we have no idea how to deal with so instead we act rather emotionless although because of Master I feel anger and resentment much easier." She summarized the curse of a void demon while adding in the extra information.
"But why ask about love? Didn't the human bandit feel love towards the priestess Kikyo?" Kouga asked, completely confused even with Kanna's earlier response.
"No...and yes, that was more of a lust for the power that the priestess had held, he was in love with the idea of her power, not the woman herself. Besides I think I have someone for which I have feelings I don't understand." Kanna replied, feeling tireder than she looked.
"Oh" Silence filled the cave once more before Kouga spoke once more, "Who?"
by this time Kanna was already drifting into an uneven sleep and whispered her response before completely slipping under. "You"

I like the idea of Kanna and Kouga because of the fact that he is so full of life and bouncy and shiz while Kanna's over here watching everything in her mirror and barely talking and never showing any emotion. My explanation of a void demon is something I kind of thought of on the spot but I do like it, a lot actually and I'm also assuming there are more of her kind of demon because how lonely would that be to be the only one of her kind. Anyways I don't plan on doing anything else with this but if I had a few people ask for a 2nd chapter or something showing his reaction and the afterwards and such then I'll add it but I like the idea that you can form any opinion that you want on how things happened after that. Sorry this is so long anyways but I have a lot of free time during school so I write up a few one-shots.
