"Hey, I thought you said you didn't LIKE girls!" Akane wrly yelled down at Ranma.
Ranma continued running, but a small frown appeared on his face. "That's right!"
"I!" Ranma started to look angry.
"HATE!" Really pissed now.
"GIRLS!"
Suddenly, as if on cue, a whole group of girls sprung up in front of the school yard, some bearing weapons, others in fighting stances, but all of them screaming something along the lines of "Ranma Tendo, I love you!"
Akane, who knew this was coming, lightly hopped up to the wall and stayed there, waiting for Ranma to finish his fight. This had happened every morning since Akane and her father, Genma, had arrived in Japan after their training trip to China. First the girls would come to attack, and then, when all of them were beaten, Kodachi Kuno would jump down and challenge Ranma so that she could date him.
Ranma assumed a fighting pose as the first wave of girls tried to surround him and pin him down. Punching some of them out, he managed to nearly escape the first group when a girl got her hands on the back of his shoulders. Jumping into the air and landing behind her, he reversed her grip and flipped her.
Only a few seconds had passed after flipping the last girl when the next wave came on. Punching, kicking, and flipping them all again, he soon managed to make sure every one of them was down. Gee, not a large today, he silently thought.
Panting hard, he relaxed. "I wish for once that these girls would just leave me alone!" Ranma screamed. Suddenly, a whoosh of air could be heard, and Ranma caught a rose. Glancing at it, he shuddered.
Kodachi. Ick.
Turning around to the front of the school, he prepared his battle pose just in case she tried anything funny (which she always did). Suddenly, a voice could be heard throughout the outside area.
"Ranma Tendo." the voice uttered.
Ranma was just about to jump kick Kodachi when he stopped. That wasn't Kodachi's voice.
"Ranma, Ranma Tendo." Tatewaki Kuno stepped from out behind the tree. He quickly grabbed his bokken.
"If you defeat me I would allow you to date with me!!"

Ranma awoke with a scream, shuddering. Sitting in bed for a few moments, he had nearly calmed down when he noticed something in his hand.
A very, very red rose. With a clonk, Ranma passed out.
