Jason looked inthe mirror once more, checking to make sure he looked okay. Aside fromiasing his gun belt, helmet, and his Red Hood symbol, Jason wore basically his usual Red Hood costume. He slowly walked dwn the stairs of his apartment building to find his motorcycle waiting for him. He put his motorcycle helmet on, and slowly rode his motorcycle to Wayne manor.
Cass stood at rhe door of Wayne Manor waiting for Jason. As usual he shows up only five minutes late. Cass knew it wasn't going to be fancy, but she wanted to look okay. She put on a black t-shirt that showed a little bit of clevage and a pair of jeans. She saw Jaspn pull up and slowly walked out of the door to get on the back after he gave her a helmet to put on. Bruce as usual walked out to "greet" Jason in his usual suit.
"You're late, Jason." Bruce said gruffly. Jason rolled his eyes under his helmet and flipped up the visor.
"And I need to get to my date. Thanks for coming to greet me. Now I'm gonna get going." Jason stated as he flipped his visor down and rode off with Cass holding onto him.
They slowly reached the restaurant that Jason had made sure to know Cass liked. Jason parked his bike and let cass get off before placing both of their helmets on the handles. Cass smiles and they both told the lady at the front they would eat outside before sitting at their table.
"So what made you agree to this date, Cass?" Jason asked, resting his hand on his chin.
"Like you. Like food. Um...wanted to...to...get to know you better?" She questioned her statement, not sure if the grammar was proper. Jason smiled as a slight blush crept up on her cheeks.
"Well good because I like you too. Now tell me some stuff about you so I can tell you some stuff about me."
"Well um...I like books...have trouble reading them. um...like...music. I like...anime. Now you." Cass said with a small blush and a smile.
"Well I love books. Alfred, Bruce and I would often collect first editions of books before...the incident. I like music as well and I like the night sky. I like rain as well." He smiled and watched as Cass tried to form her words.
"Would...you...be able to...read to me?" She asked.
"Of course. Actually, if you want, the people haven't even come around to take our order. How about we ditch this place, go to my apartment and order some take out Chinese?" Jason asked her. She nodded and they slowly got up from their seats and headed to the motorcycle where Jason ordered the food on his phone.
Once they got back to Jason's apartment, the chinese food had arived at practically the same time, so Jason payed and they went upstairs to eat. The place was neater than Cass expected and they sat down and ate their food together. Cass looked at Jason.
"Jason?" She asked quietly.
"Yes Cass?" He slowly responded, "What is it?"
"Could you...read...to me?" Jason saw the small blush form on her cheeks and smiled.
"Of course." Jason replied as he got up and grabbed his Edgar Allen Poe best works books off his shelf. he sat next to her as she layed her head in his lap. He opened up to The Raven and he read to her.
Somewhere in the middle of Jason's reading he looked down to see Cass fast asleep. Smiling warmly he grabbed a nearby blanket and placed it over her before leaning his head back and slowlt drifting off with her.
