To my Dearest Hadley,
Here I am on the eve of what supposedly should be the happiest day of my very long life and the only thing on my mind is you my love. I am so sorry that I can never be who you want and need me to be. Know that wherever my new journey leads, you will always be in my heart. I will carry you with me and always think back on our time fondly.
You were and are the best thing that has ever happened to me, but I hope you understand why I made the decision I made. Sometimes in life we must choose between what we need and what is expected of us. They knew which one I would choose. Even though I despise my actions, I must do what is best for my Queendom.
I am truly sorry for the hurt and pain I have caused. I know that you don't understand and that you hate me and feel I have betrayed you, and all I can say is that one day I pray that you can somehow forgive me.
Always remember that you are my light in the darkest of dark days, and the cool breeze on the hottest of hot. I will love you forever. And when your next begins, maybe by then I will have become the woman you always knew I could be.
