Cold Steel
Devoid of emotion
lifeless
is this who I want to be?
this steel arm?
cold and without feeling
expression neveer changing
never in pain
never shocked
perfect.
will I wear the arm?
or will the arm wear me?
A/N: The Will I wear the arm? or will the arm wear me? was partly inspired by the movie The Man in the Iron Mask. When one of the Muskateer's who rescues King Louie's brother says " We feared the Mask would destroy you" and the brother replies " I wear the Mask, it does not wear me."
The poem is either set right when Folken recieves the arm, or is set at the end of the series when Folken realizes/ is realizing that what he is doing is wrong.
