Chapter One:
Alice felt herself spiraling once again into the epitome of a darkness engulfing her entire being. She knew what she was brought upon to do and she must not fail. It was at utmost importance that she fulfilled this dreadful duty.
It felt like something was squeezing the very life out of her, and she wished it would, as she continued to dive into what others would only know as the unknown. She had been here once a long time ago. It had felt like forever in that monstrous cage that the people she was produced from put her in. How they could do that to their precious offspring will never ever been known. It was a sick, idiotic act on their part. That little move they pulled cost them 6 years of their bouncing bundle of torture thinking of what dastardly things she was going to do to them. Oh, how many times Alice tried to kill herself and was unsuccessful, because Alice had a secret that no one knew. She couldn't die. Even at this very moment, she was only half of a person. Everyone thought this Alice was a twisted, psychotic bitch from Hell, but they'd never seen her other half.
Her mission was to destroy her other half so that she could finally die, and that meant traveling to the place where the actual fucked up Alice was hiding. Ever since her trip to Wonderland as a child, she had been in a pitiless pool of sorrow. Her own wrists reflected many, many scars from attempted suicide. Her neck had a permanent rope burn from the hanging she tried. At the temple on the right side of her face, she had a round circular scar from the bullet she shot through her brain unsuccessfully. Most people wish from immortality, but to Alice, it was a curse far worse than anyone could imagine. She wasn't a whole person. She was missing...her soul was missing…anything that would enable happiness for her was instantaneously gone from the time she first entered that goddamned Wonderland. Everything she desired was gone, and now she was here to finish this for the last time.
It seemed as if Alice had been falling for hours…days…years... She was exactly sure. Her body seemed to begin feeling free and not so enclosed. She regained feeling of her fingers and toes first and slowly the feeling came back to her entire body. She opened her eyes to an almost unrecognizable place. The Wonderland had twisted with her mind. She turned just in time to witness a knife flying at her face…
