Lia looked at the brightly colored dots on the floor. "Oh, I'm way too drunk for this!" she giggled happily.

Duff shook his head and set his empty beer bottle down, "I'm not drunk enough!" he laughed, wondering how he let himself get talked into this game. Oh yeah, he remembered, her. That was all the convincing he needed. He smiled at the computer geek and cordially wished her luck.

"Right hand red!" Emily announced.

"Left foot green!" Matt laughed as he watched his inebriated co-workers attempt to maneuver themselves on the mat.

Eventually, Emily abandoned the spinner completely, simply calling out strategic commands.

Duff was stretched out above Lia, his lips momentarily coming in contact with her cheek. Accidentally or on purpose, Emily wasn't sure. Lia giggled, almost losing her balance. Duff's free hand flew to her hip, steadying her. "I didn't want to win by default," he explained, sure he bluffed convincingly.

Emily grinned, "Right foot blue!" she finally called to end the game quickly. As expected, Duff collapsed bringing Lia down with him. He was able to brace himself in a push-up over her, so that none of his body was physically touching hers.

"Oops," he muttered, looking down at the tech girl.

Lia bit her lip and grinned. She brought her hand to his chest, "I like this game," she managed, pulling him into a kiss.

Duff finally broke the embrace, "So do I," he added, kissing her once more.
