~ A poem-like assignment I had to do last year. If anyone knows that "I am Canadian" poem, this is a lot like it. Please r/r!

My name is Fox Mulder

Hey, I'm not crazy, or insane,
I don't do my job because it's a job,
I do my job because I have a purpose,
I don't listen to what my superiors tell me,
because I think they're wrong.

I don't believe in the simple truth,
I believe that there are conspiracies everywhere,
I don't believe the government
is here just for our benefit,
I think the government has it's own agenda.

Lies are truths,
And truths are lies.
And they are called
Extra-Terrestials,
NOT little green men,
Extra-Terrestrials!

I confront aliens and monsters,
black oil and Bounty Hunters.
The things I've seen sometimes
even I can't describe.
I've encountered clones, killer bees,
Cancer Man, and yes, even the Lone Gunmen!

I study unsolved and absurd crimes,
and often deal with the paranormal.
But at work my position is
"Profiler"
I have a faithful partner,
And all my co-workers call me "Spooky"

My name is Fox Mulder,
And I want to
BELIEVE!
