An: this just came to me randomly so I started writing. For Halloween, might do another one with a different couple if I have time.

Katie Gardner looked along the row of pumpkins in front of her. Tonight was the night of the big Halloween dance. She was attending alone. However she knew who she wanted to be there with. Him. Travis Stoll.
At that moment she saw Jessica Fletcher walk past clinging onto the arm of her new boyfriend for dear life. Katie didn't know his name but she was angry about how quickly Jessica had replaced Travis. Jessica glared at Katie as she walked bby even though Katie smiled.
"Well, you did contribute to their breakup" the annoying voice inside her head muttered. As much as she tried to deny it Katie knew that it was telling the truth. Jessica had just happened to walk straight into the clearing where Travis and Katie where in a passionate embrace. After a massive fight Travis and Jessica had broken up. Katie hadn't seen Travis since.
"They're great, aren't they?" Travis' voice snapped her out of her daydream. "I can easily tell which one is yours".
" Oh,which one is it then? "Katie asked trying to keep her frantically beating heart under control.
" That one " Travis pointed. He was right. "The best one of them all". That was when they made eye contact. Immediately they both started fiddling with their costumes. For Travis it was his Dracula costume. For Katie it was her fallen angel costume. Finally she could stand it no longer. She grabbed his cape and pulled him into the shadows.
" Katie... What? "Travis muttered. " I don't understand ".
" It might be better if you don't "she whispered back. Travis started muttering under his breath clearly confused. However he stopped when Katie pulled him close and kissed him.
He kissed her back, sinking his hands into her silky chestnut brown hair while she sunk her fingers into his. Eventually they had to break apart for air but they where quickly kissing again. It was the perfect Halloween for both of them.
An: yeah,that was my attempt at writing romance. I think it failed. I might write some more Halloween thing for other couples and I might write about the kiss that takes place before this story.
