A/N- This is my first piece of writing since primary school, honestly, and I'm pretty sure it's not great, but the idea just would not leave me alone! (and what else is there to do on a 4 hour plane trip!?) For that reason, feedback, positive or negative, would be amazing! I kind of wanted to post this to my tumblr, but I'm really hesitant about people I know IRL reading my writing. So if you guys thinks it's okay, I might post it there as well!

Also, I don't own Once Upon A Time or any of the characters or whatever (I don't know if this is necessary, but I don't want to get in any trouble)

Also, sorry in advance for any spelling or grammatical errors.

She dreams often, almost every night. Strange dreams, of fighting dragons, and of Evil Queens. There's something almost familiar about the people in her dreams, she feels like she knows them. Like she knows Prince Charming and Snow White, like she's met Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan and Maleficent. And the pirate. No matter what she dreamt of, he was always there. Sometimes they fought side by side, but more often than not, he was on the periphery, just out of reach, watching, waiting but never close enough for her to reach, no matter how hard she tried. She tries to dismiss the dreams, telling herself she'd had too much coffee, or watched too many of those Disney movies Henry seems to love so much. But the dreams were always nagging in the back of her mind.

She sits eating breakfast with Henry one morning, recalling last nights' particularly vivid dream, when there's a sharp knock on the door. She glances up, wondering if she'd imagined it, but the knocking comes again, more insisted, almost sounding urgent. She moves quickly towards the door, and pulls it open.

And she's face to face with her pirate, the one that's been plaguing her dreams for almost a year now. She just stares at him, wondering if this too, is nothing but a dream he moves towards her, and she lets him, finding herself drawn to him. She's only convinced she's awake when their lips meet. There's an odd tingling sensation in the back of her mind, almost like a memory fighting to resurface. She feels his hand tangle in her hair, and she's jerked back to reality. This stranger is kissing her. Instinct takes over, and she shoves him off her, he stumbles backwards, out the door, and she slams it quickly. When she turns around, her mind feels hazy. All she can see is his face, all she can feel is his lips on hers. She closes her eyes. Killian.

A/N- So there's that. I didn't originally have the last sentence in there, but I added it while I was editing it before I uploaded. Let me know if you think it would've been better without it! Please give me some feedback!
