This is my sad attempt at poetry. I don't own any of the Star Wars characters. They all belong to George Lucas, who by the way, should not have authorized Chewie being killed in the first place.

Okay, there was some confusion on this before, so I'm re-uploading it with a couple of explanations. I dunno why I'm even uploading this again cuz I think it's really stupid, but oh well. This is basically a poem that Han writes after he lost Chewie. He's directing it towards Leia, so Leia's the 'you' in the poem. And it takes place right after Chewie died, when Han is heading back to Dubrillion or wherever it was.

WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE?

Why weren't you there

when I needed your care?

Why weren't you there when he died?

Why weren't you there

when I cried myself to sleep?

Why weren't you there

when I was overcome with grief?

How could you leave me there?

Alone.

How could you leave me

alone in the dark?

Without love, without light,

not even a spark?

No spark of light to brush away my fears

No gentle hand to wipe away my tears

How could you leave me alone,

by myself?

Why weren't you there?

... when he died.

So what did you think? This isn't really that Star Wars-ish, I just made it up last night when I was laying in my bed. Tell me what you think of it, even though it's probably not very good.
