kiss it better – a solangelo fic
{an: this would take place after the final book in the series, blood of olympus. hope you enjoy this little one-shot about these two goofballs}
Nico didn't expect to shadow-travel to the roof of the Apollo cabin…
Or fall off the roof for that matter.
His intention was to shadow travel to the door, being too lazy to walk across the whole camp to get to Cabin Seven, and so shadow travelling had seemed like his next best option. Instead, he had landed on the edge of the cabin roof, unable to catch his footing before he toppled off the side.
"Gahhh!" Nico shouted as he fell, hitting the ground with a thud, his arm snapping and twisting under him. "Shit…" he mumbled as he sat up, gripping his limp right arm. It didn't take long for one of the Apollo cabin mates to pull the shades up with a satisfying zip before he heard a familiar voice.
"Nico? What the hell are you doing?" Will asked, rushing out the front door to meet his crippled man outside the cabin.
"Well," he said as Will approached him, "I planned on shadow travelling to the door, since I didn't really want to walk across the entirety of the camp to get here. I didn't plan on landing on the roof and falling off."
"Come on, Nico," Will chided, rolling his eyes playfully as he examined Nico's arm. "Well… It's definitely broken," he stated.
"No shit, Sherlock."
"Do you want my help or not?" Will asked.
"I do… I'm sorry, babe."
"Maybe I can kiss it better," Will said. That got a pained laugh out of Nico.
"Will, is that seriously going to do anything?" Nico asked, smiling.
"Probably not," Will said, leaning down, eliminating the space between Nico's arm and his own lips. "But I think we should try anyways." Gently, Will placed his lips softly on Nico's forearm. The pair didn't expect anything to happen, but Nico immediately felt better, as if his arm was healing.
"What the…?" Nico asked, before he realized. Son of Apollo. Slowly, he moved his arm, without any pain. The once shattered bones seemed to be healed already, with a simple kiss.
"No way…" Will said, looking at Nico's arm. "It actually worked?"
Immediately, Nico reprimanded Will. "You're not allowed to do that again. It's one thing for us to be dating, it's another thing for you to go magically healing my wounds with your kisses."
"So I'm not allowed?" Will asked, looking into Nico's eyes, wiping a bit of blood off his forehead with his thumb, a small scrape Nico must have received from the fall, before reaching up and kissing that wound as well, Will's eyes trained on it as he watched it close.
"No! You're not allowed!" Nico shouted, playfully shoving Will away. Quickly, Will tackled Nico to the ground, his knees on either side of his hips, keeping Nico against the grass. He looked up at Will for a moment, staring at his blue eyes. "Gods…" Nico mumbled before his boyfriend leaned down and pressed his lips to Nico's. They stayed like that for a few moments, enjoying each other's company, kissing, before a voice made the pair jump.
"Will! We need you in here! You can come back in anytime now," shouted Kayla, one of Will's half sisters. Both Will and Nico blushed a bit as Will hopped off of Nico and onto his feet.
"Well…" Will mumbled, running his hand through his golden curls, "I guess I better… you know, head back in."
Nico smiled at him, before walking over and pressing his lips to Will's one more time. "See you later, Healer Boy."
