Xion sat there, looking at her phone, her left foot resting on her other knee. The cafe was mostly silent, the barista's worked and the other few cafe goers drank their drinks. She looked out the window to her left, snow fell slowly. Each crystal falling differently from the rest, just like how each crystal themselves were different.

The bell above the door rang as a tall dirty blond boy enters the cafe. Xion moves her hair out of her face and smiled as she looked towards him, "Hey Roxas." she said to him. They were foster siblings, yet they acted like true brother and sister. They shared secrets, fought, played, and were always together. He had a newspaper in his hand, he opened it as he sat down.

"Hey Xion." Roxas greeted as read, he sighed, "Another ghoul attack in the lower city"

Xion looked at her phone, "Per usual" Xion Said. you see, there are dangerous, deadly things in the world. Most of which prey upon humans.

The heartless is a genus of animals, that can range from looking like rabbits, to looking like humans.

Nobody's, which are very similar, but have less species.

And ghouls, a subspecies of humans. They feed mostly upon humans, and have genetic defensive abilities.

And so on.

"Anyway, whose turn is it to buy?"

She looked away from him, back to her phone, "Yours." she replied

"Are you sure?" He asked skeptically, but knowing that she was correct.

"Yes," She said glaring up from her phone, "Because last time you made me spend twenty five dollars on four donuts, two cinnamon rolls, and one coffee with extra cream, extra milk, and four pumps of espresso." She looked back at her phone unamused.

"Sorry Xion," Roxas replied sorry, "But their pastries are soo good!"He pouted a small bit.

As they continued to converse, a tall silver haired barista walked up to the table, "How are the two of you today?" He asked as he took out his note pad.

Xion began to order but started to stutter a bit as a tall charcoal haired young man entered, he seemed to be nineteen, not much older then her, His yellow green eyes were what truly caught her attention. This was not the first time she had seen him, but he had always been able to pull her attention away from everything.

"Earth To Xion. Wakey Wakey. SIS!" roxas said, to pull her attention away from the hunk.

She looked at him, a blush in her cheeks. "Sorry…" She finished her order, and after the waiter left, xion looked back at the stranger.

He pulled out his phone, the case too which was merchandise for xion's favorite anime, Symbiot Ultimate.

"Why won't you just talk to him?" Roxas asked, clearly upset at her. "This creeper shit you do is tiring."

"Because! If he likes me, he'll ask me out. So…" She retorted looking at her phone.

The waiter came up with their orders, and placed them down xion grabbed her sea salt mocha, and drank.

Tall dark and hunky stood up and began to walk towards them.

"Hey Shi," Roxas said mischievously, "Mystery hunk is coming over here right now." As he said this, Xion choked on her coffee.

"Hey." he said to her warmly, "I couldn't help but notice you looking at me. And, that this isn't the first time."

"Y-Yeah… S-sorry if I creeped you out." Xion said apologetically.

"No, To be honest, I've caught myself looking at you a few times." He said rubbing his neck, "I'm Vanitas, by the way."

"I'm Xion." She replied with a smile.

"I'll leave you two." Roxas said, grabbing his food and coffee and leaving.

Vanitas sat down, and they talked for hours about, anime manga. Music. Until…

"Hey, how about we go on a date?" Vanitas asked.
