Ikki and Esmerelda (Iris)
Ikki was now done with his training for the day.
His master went out to pray at the temple.
Esmerelda walked in with a plate for Ikki.
Ikki smiled and placed the plate down and stood near Esmerelda.
Ikki brushed her cheek.
Esmerelda smiled at Ikki and blushed.
Her faced sadly changed and her gazed went to the floor because she knew her father would not let them be together.
Ikki picked her chin up and came close to her knowing what she was thinking but it did not matter to him and he said with a smile on his face,
Intro:
"All I can feel is this moment."
Esmerelda threw her arms around him and cried holding him tight. Ikki wanted to be with Esmerelda forever and this moment was all he cared about and he wanted to hold her this night no matter what would happen.
Esmerelda knew he was taught to be heartless but she could make him feel.
She said while crying onto his chest, not caring what her father might do to her,
"I'll give up forever to touch you, cause I know that you'll feel me somehow."
Esmerelda threw Ikki onto the pillows, which lay on the floor, held onto him, and looking up to, him smiled with tears in her eyes,
"I just don't want to miss you tonight."
The two held each other throughout the night.
Ikki hearing a crackle outside got up to see what it was.
Esmerelda awoke and was going to ask where he was going, but Ikki placed his fingertips on her lips to reassure her that he would return.
Ikki went outside.
Esmerelda waited for Ikki to return with a smile on her face.
The slide door opened and Esmerelda got up seeing no one come through.
Behind her arose her father and with a dagger took her soul and along with it Ikki's heart.
Ikki felt a pain in his heart and ran back to see Esmerelda lying on the floor and he held her.
Ikk's master came out from the shadows.
Ikki filled with rage lashed out against his master.
His master knew without his daughter Ikki would be truly heartless, she just stood in his way.
Ikki drove his hand of anger at his master striking him down.
Ikki then held his only love once more with tears in his eyes.
He didn't even get to say goodbye.
His heart was broken, he was now totally heartless.
Knowing when others break rules for love, it always turns out good, feeling as if he was cheated.
Everything was meant to be broken but not for him.
He remembered how he would train hard for her to notice him, just for her to know who he was.
Without her, he felt heartless and weak for crying.
Without a heart, he knew he would never see her again. Because he would not be accepted into heaven, where she was and he whispered in her ear,
"You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be."
He did not want to feel weak and would not let anyone see him weak because he thought himself a curse to kindness.
Holding Esmerelda, he placed his face on hers and spoke softly,
"I don't want the world to see me, cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's meant to be broken. I. just want. you to. know. who. I . am."
