Tails' Big Adventure!
One day, Tails was working on the Tornado. Then Sonic came in.
"Hey lil' bro, whatcha up to?"
"Fixing the Tornado, after that crazy adventure at Lost Hex."
"But, we came back in the Tornado. How can it be broken already?"
Tails sighed, and thought back to the day they left.
Flashback
Sonic was in front of Tails, trying to drive the plane, not having driven it AFTER 5 YEARS. Tails was trying to teach him how to drive it.
"Sonic! Turn left!"
"WHAT?"
"TURN LEFT!"
"Okay!"
Sonic then swiveled the wheel RIGHT, and crashed straight into Mystic Ruins. Tails and Sonic got out, and took the plane back to their house.
End of Flashback
Tails chuckled quietly, and turned back to his work.
"Hey! I still wanna talk!"
Tails turned again, and waited.
"Do you wanna have a break and do something with me?"
Tails smiled, put down his wrench, and walked up to Sonic.
"Where to?"
"You know, our 'spot'." Sonic said, gesturing the bunny fingers.
Tails smiled, he did remember. He nodded, and they went outside. They smiled, and took off, towards Mystic Ruins. Once there, they ran up one of the mountains there. They stopped by the edge, looking at the view. It was a view over the land, including the deserts they lived by, Green Hill Zone, and part of a beach, the exact beach they had met at. It was sunset, which made everything even more beautiful. They smiled, and sat on the ridge, their legs hanging over.
"Sonic, do you think this will ever end?"
"Well, I don't want it to."
They smiled at each other, and watched the sun, silently, go down. When they were ready to go, they smiled, and ran down the mountain. Sonic saw something ahead, and tried to stop. He couldn't. He frowned, and looked at Tails, who was right beside him. He pushed Tails to the side, and kept running. In seconds, he was trapped. But, it wasn't any ordinary trap. He got electrocuted, and fell, eyes slightly open. Before the drowsiness he now has took him over, he saw Shadow. Shadow smirked, and flashed away, right before the now panicking Tails could reach him and Sonic. Tails dropped to his knees in tears.
"SONIC!"
The cry fled out throughout Mystic Ruins, Station Square, and even Angel Island. There, Knuckles stood, his head down in dispair. Most of the mobians and humans in Station Square were the same. Sonic, was gone.
