(Okay, hands up who's heard of the I-pod Song Shuffle Challenge? Well, I have, and tried it, even though I don't own an i-pod (used my phone...). I'll confess, I broke the time limit with this, but hey, I figured it was worth it. Anyways, Enjoy. ^-^)

Teenagers- My Chemical Romance

Last Wednesday, Snake had been forced to reassess his list of things he was afraid of. Funnily, Death wasn't on that list. He'd come to terms a long time ago. Mostly, it was small, almost irrational things like giant spiders or failing an important task, god knew how bad the military took failure. The deaths of people in cared about appeared on there as well. Even his unit, though they didn't deserve his concern.

Last Wednesday, K Unit had been sent of a stealth exercise with paintball guns. The aim of the mission was to wipe out the other members of your and other units without getting hit yourself. Urban territory was chosen as the field. On the 4-tonne truck on the way out, Cub had looked nervous and who could blame him? He'd be going up against the best of the best.

Poor Cub, Snake had thought, the boy's gonna get crushed in there.

Each unit was dropped off at a different location and ordered to spilt up. No-one was to shoot for the next ten minutes. After that, all hell could break loose for all the officers cared. And so it did. Snake hung tight, waiting for the main fight to break down and to pick off the survivors. Screams erupted for the square and Snake watched in shock as Wolf stumbled from the square. If he hadn't have knew any better, Snake would have swore Wolf had been dipped in a dye vat. The man was absolutely slathered in sky blue paint. Snake nodded appreciatively. Wolf was good, so someone in there was just plain brilliant...

Snake watched as Cub emerged from the fight without a drop of paint on him, a manic look lighting his features. The boy disappeared down an alley before he could get a clear shot.

Someone got off lucky. I suppose it's cause he's small...

The next time Snake saw Cub, the boy was aiming at him through the crosshairs of the paintball rifle. The boy had appeared from nowhere and had a small smile on his flushed face. "Sorry," he whispered before pulling the trigger repeated. Sky blue paint exploded against the front of his uniform.

Last Wednesday, Snake added something to his list. Not at the very top, but certainly close enough to make him more than a little scared of going up against it.

The list now reads;

K Unit's elimination

Failure

Teenagers (at least one in particular)

Failure...
