Lily POV
I was working in my Family business when I saw him. We were on summer vacation. James Potter in my store.
I asked him what he was doing here. He told me he was looking for a job.
James has been asking me out since he met me in Diagon Alley while shopping for school supplies. We have been fighting each other since then.
Anyway, James wanted a job in my store. Apparently, he came to my store out of all the other shops in the area. We had a vacancy of cashier open. He didn't know anything about muggle money.
A few days later...
James had left the store five minutes ago. I was closing up the shop. I locked the store, and started walking home.
When I was ten minutes away from home a car started following me home. There were five men in the car. The car came up in front of me blocking me from going home. The men came out of the car, and surrounded me on all sides. One man walked up behind me, and pinned my arms behind my back. They were about to rape me when all of a sudden, James was walking to my house.
I was never so happy to see him before in my life.
James!, I thought. I think he heard me in his head or something because he stopped in mid step and looked up into my eyes for the first time since he headed toward my house. He was lost in my eyes so long that it took him a few minutes to analyze the present situation. When he finally figured out the situation, he was very angry. Electric power was coming out of his fingers.
He slowly walked toward me so that I was the only person who could see him. He bound the group one by one saving the guy who pinned my arms to my back for last. Finally, binding all their arms he asked me if I was alright. I told him I was ok even though I was a bit shaken by the experience. He beat them up right in front of me, and he allowed me to slap the guys.
By the end, the men were crying and promised not to do this to anyone they met. They called me their sister.
After that James escorted me to my house. When we got to my front door, I thanked him, gave him a hug, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. James was shocked when did that. I went inside and James left to his residence. When I got home, mum and dad were frantic and freaking out. They hugged me very tightly until I told them I couldn't breathe. I told my parents what happenned on the way home.
Mum and Dad said, "James is a gentlemen."
They knew all about my previous years in Hogwarts.
My feelings considering James Potter are changing.
Since the incident...
James has been escorting me to and from the shop.
James has finally learned how to use muggle money and calculating change. He is teaching me about wizarding money. James asked me out again. This time I said yes.
