Disclaimer: This is based on James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series. So give him some love for creating something so awesome!

Maximum is 19, and the flock has split up because the danger of the apocalypse has ultimately faded. She has been with Dylan for a while and they are trying to live a normal life in New York City. The rest of the flock has settled elsewhere. As Max gets closer and closer to Dylan, she misses Fang more and more. In the end, her love for them is put to the test, when she must choose one, and the other may just be gone forever.

Prologue

Welcome! Whether you're reading this stuff for the first time, or have been following me since the beginning of our little adventures, well, big adventures. That's because some people find saving the world from an apocalypse kind of a big deal.

My name is Max, Maximum Ride to be formal. And my genetic makeup is just as out of the ordinary as my name. You see, I was "created" by mad (very mad) scientists, who thought that strapping wings on children would be a good idea. So that kind of makes me a bird girl.

Then there's my flock; Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman (Gazzy), and Angel. We've been together since the very beginning, but as of recently, each of us have been flying solo. I miss my flock a lot. Now that we have all gotten older (4 years older to be exact, making me 19) we have gone separate ways.

Iggy, Gazzy, Angel, and Nudge are still at my Mom's house. They're going to school with my half-sister Ella, and from what I hear are enjoying themselves.

Then there's Fang. No one really knows what he's up to. He left the flock, once again and his blog says that he's somewhere in England. Probably being anti-social, or even worse, enjoying himself with a bunch of hot English girls.

I guess that leaves me. I have settled in New York City with my "perfect match" Dylan. Four years with him, has left us in a relationship. Yes, Maximum Ride, in an actual relationship. Totally unlike the one I had with Fang, which consisted of no alone time and minimal contact.

Being with Dylan is nice. We have settled in a extensive visit hotel on the highest floor of a huge building in the city, so we can come and leave as we please, with just a jump out the window.

The best part about it, is that it's free! Totally free! Why? When trying to stop the Doomsday Group in France we managed to save a man named Richard Hilton. So I guess he felt grateful and let us stay in his giant hotel. I have no complaints!

So here I am, a place I like to call "The Nest", living with a gorgeous man and not a care in the world. I'm loving it, and I have come to admit, I love Dylan.
