Aria POV
As the dinner at my house with Ezra and my family continues, my nerves also continue to build. The light conversation that was going on at the beginning of the meal has long since stopped and the only sounds in the room is the ones of the silverware clinking against the plates as everyone eats in a far from comfortable silence. The nerves are just starting to become to much. I can feel it coming. The panic. The feeling of attack. I'm going to have another panic attack.
If I don't leave the table soon, I will break down in front of everyone. Which makes the attacks even worse. But I don't want to leave Ezra alone with my family. Well, mainly my father, but you get the point. I need to make a decision.
"Excuse me." I say as I get up and quickly walk up to my room. I shut the door and go over and sit on my bed. I can feel it coming. I try to stop it, but the next thing I know… it takes over me.
Ezra POV
Aria has been gone from the table for a few minutes now and the silence has become even more awkward. If that was possible that is.
We are all thinking the same thought though. 'Where is Aria and what is taking her so long.
"I'm gonna go and check on her." Ella and I say at the same time as we both stand up.
"Uh…" I say, unsure of what to do.
"You go. She's your, girlfriend." Ella says slightly pausing before the word girlfriend.
"Ella." Byron says.
"Byron…" Ella says back giving him a warning glance.
"Um… ok. I'll go check on her." I say.
I get up and walk up the stairs to Aria's bedroom. I remember where it is from the time at the Hollis faculty party. I'm glad that I was the one to get to check on her for three reasons.

to get out of the awkward silence
so i wouldn't be left in a room alone with her father
When I reach her room, the door is closed.
"Aria?" I say as I lightly knock on the door.
There is no response, but I hear a faint sound of what sounds like a cry come from inside. I decide to go on in.
I see Aria curled up on her bed, crying. It breaks my heart to see her like this. It tales me a minute to figure it out, but I recognize her as being in one of her panic attacks.
AN: I will update my other ezria fic, The First Time, soon! I promise! and this fic will be a short 3-4 chapters. please review!
