My search for a certain hero has ended, in what others might say...dark. Dude managed to get himself killed by his stupid quirk. What a dumb name...quirk. If I were to rename it, it would be a fucking power not something straight off as a characteristic...anyways, the dude's name was Soul Quake, his power was to make the floor beneath him act like an earthquake. His most powerful attack was measured up to a 7.2, which was the main reason why he got himself killed. Like any other hero, he saves and acts like he's the shit...he didn't realize the building that he was in was not 'earthquake proof'.
If I were him, I would consider death a save...he didn't have to see the other heros reaction when he died.
In the months prior before his death, I was investigating a little girls death that was unsolved by the police. A cold case if you will. I too didn't find anything useful or meaningful until a little bird told me that Quake Soul was involved in her death.
The little girls body, Sarah Sheen, was found by an jogger. Her body had some bruise marks around her neck, legs, and arms. Normally, it would be a simple and quick case, but there was no DNA residue, no eye witnesses, nothing. Not even a fucking report of her going missing.
I was going through her background for a bit and I stumbled upon something very interesting. Sarah Sheen was a huge fan of Quake Soul's former sidekick, Striker Zone. I believe huge fan is an understatement. This girl was literally in love with this dude. Any fan meet ups, she attended three hours early. Any merchandise, she only got Striker's and ONLY Strikers.
Most of you can already tell where I'm going with this.
It would seem that Quake had jealousy that was builded up for a good amount of time. When he confronted it, it ended up being a murder.
Yes, I know what I said...murder from an official hero. There is factual evidence from a CCTV camera showing what happened, but what gets my teeth grinding was the fact that Quake tried to hide it. He even tried to pin that shit on Striker. He was unlucky to have most of his reputation dragged across that shit storm.
I won't go into details on what happened in Sarah Sheen's last moments, but I will tell you on how Quake lost in the end.
I followed the bastard to his home and confronted him. Dude knew who I was and attempted to run. I cornered him in a building and he went ballistic on his quirk. Like I said before, he put too much in that building and it ended up crashing down. In his last moments, he said_
