Watanuki was in a surprisingly good mood this morning. The sun was shining and he was cheerfully whistling as he went along the street.
"Oi!"
"It's not 'Oi'! Will you ever understand that?" he sighed, lacking the usual amount of venom.
"Are you alright?" Doumeki asked, placing his hand on the bespectacled boys shoulder.
"Ha." he replied "Had a weird dream last night. That's all."
"Good dream?" the archer wanted to know, suddenly aware of Watanuki's blitheful expression.
"I haven't decided yet."
He turned his head away slightly so the taller boy couldn't see the faint blush on his cheeks. Doumeki's warm hand was still resting on his shoulder and one of last nights memories came to his mind. His flat, his kitchen, a warm hand resting on and eyes peering over his shoulder at, whatever it was, simmering there on the cooker.
"How can you decide whether it is a bad or a good dream?"
"It only depends on what you want it to be."
"And you're not sure if you want it to be good?"
"Exactly."
"Hn."
His voice is so very calm, Watanuki found himself thinking. Annoyingly calm! And yet somehow soothing. He heard whispers somewhere in the back of his mind, talking about food and school and … simply nonsense. He felt Doumeki's gaze on him, those amber eyes with a hint of green that had been looking right into his soul the night before.
He glanced at Doumeki and noticed the very had stopped walking, studying him, with one eyebrow arched. All those questions. Watanuki remembered an embrace, a breath caressing his neck and all those words unspoken but yet understood. He turned to face the boy that was still looking at him questioningly and smiled softly at him. Only for an instant he saw confusion in those golden gleaming eyes.
"What was that dream about?"
"As if I'd tell you. Stop being nosy!" Watanuki retorted irritated, rolling his eyes "You are going to stand there all day, stupid? As for me, I don't want to be late at school. "
With this he turned around and walked away, knowing the other would follow. For now everything was going to stay the same as ever.
Because he hadn't decided yet.
Since I probably read about 400 or so fics mostly without reviewing, I can barely ask you to do so. You cant review to every story, especially not when you read like 10 and more a day. Where I'm taking that time from, even though I'm busy with work and college from 7 a.m. to 8p.m. and then still have to study? The recent lack of sleep I'm suffering shall explain that. Anyway, long story no sense: Please review ...
