Unfortunate Wishes
My truck rambled down the now familiar lane towards the beach. I hoped Jake would be okay, he was my rock, and the only one that was truly their for me. Charlie tried the best he could , so did the rest of the pack, but Jake was the only one that made me feel nearly complete.
I stopped the truck when the truth of my own words shattered through my world. What would happen when Jacob realised I wasn't worth him any more, or when he imprinted with someone else. I would be all alone, and there would be no-one to save me that time. No one who would ever help me breathe again... there was only one solution to my troubles, but I was going to fulfil it my way.
The thoughts swirling round my head were necessary for this plan to work. I didn't want to over-think this before committing the final act. I started up my truck and drove as quickly as I could get it to go. I was only a mile away from the beach so it wouldn't take me long to get there.
'' NO BELLA !'' A musical voice screamed at me, making me jump a mile into the air, finally, took my subconscious long enough to find his voice again, I was a little disappointed actually, I thought I may have been able to see his perfect face again.
Yes! I had made it ! The beach loomed into view , as did the cliff. The water looked angry and the sky look bleak and miserable , ironic . I jumped out of the truck and ran the few metres to the cliff edge.
'' BELLA PLEASE NO !!'' ' Edward ' pleaded as I stumbled.
I reached the edge and peered over slightly, my stomach clenching slightly at the thought. I pushed the idea to the back of my head and took a step back from the side.
'' That's it Bella'' My mirage purred, not realising what I was about to do.
I ran full pelt to the edge and jumped . A scream wrenched its' way out of my throat and my arms flailed''AHHHHHHH'' I screamed , my body twisted into impossible shapes by the force of the air as I dived into the thrashing black water. I felt like I was a fallen angel , expelled from the heavens and my love and thrown into one of the darkest of places full of torture and fear.
I heard my body's impact with the water , rather than felt it. All of a sudden I was wrenched back into focus and realised what was going on. My body started tiring from the force of trying to stay above the ocean waves, the storm had caused them to rise much higher than usual.
'' Fight it Bella, please ? You promised , please Bella !! FOR ME !!'' The mirage of Edward screamed at me , my subconscious had been waiting for this moment to dredge up the perfect image that was him. YES !! I could see him one last time ! It was exactly how I remembered him, but it was not enough to erase the pain that were his last words.
I felt my breathe growing shorter with every passing second. My body was growing weaker with every move it was forced to make. The waves were controlling every move I took rather than me make any choice in the matter.
The coldness appeared to leave my body and I was replaced with a warm heat that replaced the feeling of fear and giving me something else to focus on rather than the water filling up my lungs. My heart started to slow and I breathed my last words..
'' Edward.....''
