Disclaimer: This is the fifteenth story in From the Radio. I love the song that I used very much. It's "Trouble With Goodbye" by LeAnn Rimes. This one isn't on the radio yet that I know of, but I love the song. It's off Twisted Angel, and it's a great album. Even though it's not country, it's the best album LeAnn's done yet. Buy it if you haven't already! Anyway, this is in Kat's POV, and enjoy!
Trouble With Goodbye
By Julia
Kat Oliver was sitting in her bedroom, reading a romance novel and crying. She was sad because she was prolly going to be divorcing her husband very soon. They had just drifted too far apart. She was worried that they wouldn't be friends anymore, but hopefully that wouldn't be the case. The CD player sitting next to her was playing "Trouble With Goodbye", and she felt that it described herself to a T.
It ain't workin'
Don't take no genius to see
It's hurtin' more every day
Goin' thru the motions ain't we
And it's too sad for me
Once we were true lovers
feelin' the heat
Oh but I can't say the word
We have to say
Don't ask me why let's just say
See ya round gotta go
Sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revior, auf Wiedersehen,
Ciao bella, never change
Oh mercy mercy don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbye......
Kat sniffled as she listened to the song. She and Tommy used to be in love. Then Kimberly had gone and married Jason, like everyone had always knew that they would, and Tommy had seemed to pull away from her after that. Tommy had always loved Kat, but Kimberly was his first love. Kimberly had never returned the sentiment, but Tommy loved her anyway. Kat had always felt kind of overshadowed by the petite brunette.
Tommy was a nice guy, and Kat loved him deeply. She really was going to have trouble ending the relationship. She actually really oughta quit reading these silly romance novels, since they were totally fantasy. But she kept imagining herself and Tommy in them......
Don't try to explain it away
'Cause it just ain't my thing
All this articulating
Just a little heartbreak
Why make it more than it seems
I'd much rather
Get back to dreamin' my dreams
See, cause I've been thinkin'
we'll meet again someday
But until we do
Let's just say
See ya round gotta go
Sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revior, auf Wiedersehen,
Ciao bella, never change
Oh mercy mercy don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbye
Kat sniffled again as she put a marker in her book and went to the kitchen downstairs to leave Tommy a note. She had bags already packed in the garage, hidden in one of the old racecars Tommy didn't drive anymore. She was going to leave a note, saying that they only need communicate through lawyers, since she had trouble with goodbye....
Wish I could be so free
Yeah, they take it so casually
Oh but baby, that's just not me
Oh no I've never been and
I will never be
'Cause I've got, I got
trouble babe
Oh I don't really wanna go
Don't really wanna say the words
Don't wanna say goodbye
See ya round gotta go
Sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revior, auf Wiedersehen,
Ciao bella, never change
Oh mercy mercy don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbye.........
