Disclaimer:I own none of pokemon except Ashley(she has black hair not blonde)

"Ow!" Ash winced as Ashley applied some alcohol on the wound.
His arm had a rather nasty cut. Nothing serious, but it was deep. He also had a cut on his cheek and some bruises here and there. Luckily, Ashley was already fixing the last one. The pokemon were asleep by now.
"Stop complaining." she said quickly, focusing on her task.
"It itches!" he said.
"Well, if you hadn't got into that fight, without pokemon, in the night; this might not have been necessary!" she said sounding angry, unconsciously pressing on the wound.
"Hey, no need to get mad!" he said backing his shoulder away a little.
"No need to get mad?! My boyfriend arrives at twelve in the night, hurt no less, from a fight!" she complained.
Ash didn't understand what was the fuss all about. He had a good reason.
"Why did you fight then, huh?" she asked/scold him. Ash winced at her tone.
"I had a good reason!" he exclaimed defensively. Ashley sighed, she hated fights, even more so when Ash got involved.
"Oh really..." she said with a sweatdrop.
"Really!" Ash said like it was nothing.
"And?" she asked.
"Well, I was walking down the street minding my own business..." he started.
"Yes?"
"I passed in front of a bar, didn't go in though." he continued.
"Yes, and?" Ashley asked again, growing impatient.
"This two guys came out and recognized me as the champion, and started calling names and blah blah blah..." he explained.
"And that's why you started to fight?" she asked, a vein popping out on her forehead. Ash felt himself entering into rather great danger.
"Eh, no, that wasn't why!" he said smiling, not noticing the red aura coming from his girlfriend of seven years.
"Then why, if you don't mind telling?" she growled. Ash lowered his gaze, this was the part he hated.
"They mentioned you..." he said nervously. Ashley slowly calmed down and sat at his side on the bed.
"Me?"
"They called you names." He continued.
"Names?" she repeated.
"I had to do something, I couldn't let anyone insult my girl!" he said strongly, in his usual childish-yet-kind way.
He did not notice Ashley lowering her gaze. Suddenly, he felt arms wrap around him and noticed that Ashley was hugging him. Hugging back, Ash felt like he was in heaven, although feeling a little sore.
"Sorry for getting mad, and thanks for defending me." she said sweetly.
"Anytime, Ashley. Anytime." he answered, rubbing her back.
The End
