"Kenny, do you really, really think-"
"Mmpf! Mnw mo! Bmmnss..." The blonde's voice was muffled due to his jumpsuit, but his meaning was clear. Yes, now go! Dumbass...
Stan sighed, the action not doing much to steel his nerves, and walked up to Kyle's door, knocking three times with a stiff arm. Kyle's mother opened the door. "Uh, hey, um...where's Kyle?"
"He's up in his room. Would you like to come in?" The red-haired woman offered, standing aside.
"Yes, please." He crossed the threshold, and went upstairs, stopping in front of Kyle's door, which was closed. He took a deep breath, grip tightening on his present slightly, and knocked. "Kyle?"
He heard shuffling, and then Kyle opened his door, emerald eyes curious. "Stan?"
The red-head was wearing his usual attire – orange jacket, green pants – minus shoes and hat. His short hair was slightly ruffled, like he hadn't brushed it yet.
Stan gulped slightly. Kyle's hott! He thought to himself. "Uh..."
Kyle raised an eyebrow.
Way to go, Stan! That was so sophisticated! He mentally berated himself. Instead of saying anything else potentially stupid, he held out the hand that the present sat in. It wasn't much, but he knew that Kyle would like it.
It was a picture of him, Kyle, and Kenny, with Cartman pouting in the far back. Stan was making bunny ears for Kyle, Kenny had his hood off and his tongue sticking out, hand in a peace sign, and Kyle was standing there with an amused grin. On the bottom of the picture, it said "Best friends for life!" written in Stan's handwriting. On the back of the picture was a little something Stan had written yesterday.
True friendship does not fade.
It never breaks
It never rusts
It never vanishes.
True friendship lasts forever,
Forever and ever,
Until the end of time.
He had wanted to write more, but there wasn't enough room, and he couldn't think of what else to say, so he had left it. He just hoped Kyle approved.
"Happy birthday, Kyle." He mumbled shyly, looking down at his feet as the red-head took the picture, looking it over and then reading what was on the back.
Kyle smiled. "Aww, thanks Stan. I like it." He kissed Stan on the cheek. Stan, in turn, blushed madly and mumbled something that sounded vaguely like "Yeah, sure..."
Kyle rolled his eyes, pulled Stan into his room, closed the door, and proceeded to kiss Stan with less chaste.
I love Kenny. And I made Stan such an uke. XD
Anyway, I was on deviantART, and I saw this pic with the Fab. Four, and it was a birthday present for Kyle. When I realized that Kyle's birthday TODAY, I thought: OMFG IT'S KYLE'S BIRTHDAY!??! MUST WRITE, MUST WRITE!
So I did. :D
I'm putting this on dA too, btw, so if you wanna read it there, my username is AmethystVampire. *Hopeful*
This is the first South Park fanfic I have ever written, 'cause I'm a newb. God I wish I'd started watching this show sooner. XP PLEASE? *never gets reviews anymore*
So, comments and/or (helpful, not mean) criticism would be nice.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!!! *hugs him*
PS: I wrote the poem all by myself without any inspiration whatsoever. And it's actually okay. Aren't I talented? XD
