The young God General fell to the ground for the final time. Anise jumped off Tokunaga. "S…Sync?" she mumbled, tempted to run toward him. Sync grasped his stomach and began to laugh slightly. "Finally…I can escape this…boring world…" he mumbled. Anise ran toward him. "No! Don't say that! Don't say that you're death doesn't matter! Because it matters to me!" she exclaimed.
Sync looked at Anise slightly. "Wh-why does it matter to you…?" he asked, a smirk still on his face. Tears were swelling in Anise's eyes. She looked down at Sync's hand and put her hand on top of his. "No…No! I don't want you to disappear!" she exclaimed. Luke and the others watched as Anise sat their in grief as Sync slowly began to disappear.
"If…if this is because of Ion…then shut up… I'm not him…I'm not…" Sync mumbled. Anise shook her head. "No! It might have been before but it's not now! You always said that you're death didn't matter! That no one cared about you! That you were born into the world for no reason! You may be a replica but you're still a person! You have feelings and emotions just like everybody else!" Anise shouted.
Sync looked down at the floor, at his disappearing hand and smirk. "Anise…no matter what I've said in the past…I…I never really…hated you…" he mumbled. Anise's eyes went wide in surprise as Sync began to disappear. "No!" she shrieked, hugging her enemy before he disappeared completely. Luke walked over to Anise, bent down and put a hand on her shoulder. "Sync…I really, really hated you but…. I liked you at the same time…" Anise mumbled.
"Anise, are you all right?" Luke asked, helping his friend up. Anise wiped the tears from her eyes. "Y-yeah. I'm fine…" she replied.
