Dawn sat lonely in the lobby of her apartment building. It was almost midnight, and she waited for Ash quietly.
Ash wasn't to be found, though.

She rubbed her hand against the window, looking into the dark sky. Her reflection stared at her with a look of being lost, that's how she felt as well.
Wasn't I good enough?
Dawn waited more, tapping her feet against the ground she knew Ash would never step on again with her.
Does Sinnoh bore you, or do I bore you?
She checked her clock again. Time seemed to never pass, but it was already 1am. She knew Ash wasn't to return, but she believed anyway.

Her eyes started to water, but she assured herself he was to return.

Tears poured into her hand. Ash was never coming back. Ash was 2 regions away, and worse of all, Ash was with Serena now. Ash liked Serena. Ash liked Serena more than Dawn.
