They say that vampires mate for life. Saruhiko Fushimi was never one to believe that sterotype. Considering he had been human once, he knew falling in and out of love was something most people did. But after having a near-death experience, he wasn't a human who could do those things anymore. After that, he left on a long journey around his home country, seeing as though he couldn't stay home with people who would kill a vampire.

After finding himself in Hiroshima, Japan after traveling for a while, he decided this might be a good place to stop and take a few years before leaving. Soon after staying for a bit, Saruhiko had been watching a certain male, everyday all the time. It had become a little habit of the vampire's to stalk this male. The male in question was named Yata Misaki, or that's what the mail in his mailbox said, not that Saruhiko had been looking at it.

Yata Misaki, from his observation, was one to never back down from a fight. A trait that Fushimi had come to enjoy. Though he had not made contact with Yata, he still felt this weird connection with him. The thought of vampires mating for life crossed his mind once or twice, only for him to toss the idea out entirely. So in the midst of trying to figure it all out, he silently followed the male around the city sometimes. It was a breath of fresh air each time he was close to being find out, only for Yata to blow it off as his imagination. Such a naive boy he took a liking too.

Yata always had the same schedule. Wake up, go to work, eat lunch at the cafe near his place of work, and then go home. Along with getting in several fights along the week. Some of which ended badly for the smaller male. Yata never would come off as tough, not because of his stature but because of the aura he gives off. He seemed like the average person. But when angered he'd be able to fight off an entire group of people. With minimal bruises and scratches.

Though one day, a dark, dark day, in Hiroshima a nuclear bomb had been dropped. It was one of the two towns that had gotten damaged. Fushimi, of course was alright. Yata..not so much. His arm had been hurt, and his legs were crushed under some rubble. Deciding now would be the time to initiate contact with him, Saruhiko moved closer. Helping him get the rubble off of him and laying him down in a safe location. Having had zero medical training, Fushimi didn't know what to then a thought popped up in his head. He could turn this boy into a vampire, taking away his human abilities but giving him so much more. And he would be there with him. Hell, it wasn't as if after this was over he could leave him. This boy had caught his eye, and not that he'd admit it, but he did tugged at the other's heart without even knowing it. So this being his only option, rather than let this being die, he slowly delved his teeth into the smooth skin of the male's neck. Yata freaking out from shock, and the pain all the while.
