"Izaya-kun!" The awkward brunette called, seeing his boyfriend amoungst the crowd going out the classroom door for lunch. He adjusted his glasses, as they were getting bumped while everybody tried to get as far from teh classroom as possible. The equally intelligent other looked around, finally spotting Shinra and smiling.
"Hey! Ready for lunch~?" He asked, smiling happily. He had promised Shinra that he would eat with him instead of going off to mess with his blonde enemy, Shizuo. Shinra got into his backpack and pulled out his little lunch bag that Celty had packed for him. Izaya smiled and took Shinra's hand, leading him to the nearly empty rooftop, and sitting down.
"It sure is nice out." Shinra took out his small bowl of chicken and rice leftovers from the previous night, while Izaya forcefully stabbed his straw into his juicebox and started to drink from it. Izaya shrugged, setting the juicebox down and looking over at Shinra.
"Any day is nice with you..." He commented, making the future doctor blush heavily. He stammered a bit, unable to truley reply due to embarrassment. Izaya always seemed to be able to make him do that. He wasn't a very good people person as it was, so he never knew how to respond when Izaya complimented him or acted romantic on those occasions. Suddenly, he felt those slender fingers that were so familiar to his body gently take his chin and turn it to face Izaya's. At first, thier lips brushed and soon-
"THE QUADRATIC FORMULA IS X EQUALS NEGATIVE B PLUS OR MINUS THE SQUARE ROOT OF B SQUARED MINU OVER 2 A!" Shinra blurted out loudly, his eyes squeezed shut. He felt Izaya pull away and stare at him a bit. He opened a weary eye to see his lover's surprised and taken aback face. Then, Izaya started to giggle, which turned into roarous laughter. He had to hold his stomach, but that didn't stop the tears that fell from laughing so hard. Shinra's face turned to match Izaya's shirt color, waiting for Izaya to calm down. Once he did, he wiped his tears and pecked Shinra's cheek.
"Honestly, Shinra. You're too smart."
