Mandy Rose couldn't believe it was happening again. For the fourth straight week, she found herself laying on her back in the middle of the ring, staring up at the lights. Asuka made her submit to her Asuka Lock finish. It's not like Mandy had any choice; Her damn arm was about to snap and she could literally feel the oxygen leaving her lungs the longer Asuka kept her arm locked around her neck.
"Fuck," Mandy muttered to herself as she summoned the last strength she had to roll herself out of the ring and shuffle up the ramp. That annoying entrance theme blasted through the arena while that terrible woman danced in the ring. Mandy rolled her eyes. This was starting to get ridiculous.
Backstage, as she pushed through the curtain into Gorilla, Mandy received a few half-assed compliments for her hard work against Asuka. Mandy shook her head, ignoring the words coming from the producers sitting on their asses while she had to get hers kicked week after week.
When she signed up for WWE, she surely thought her good looks would get her a top spot in the company. But, apparently, the commissioner is requiring her to compete in physical combat on a weekly basis. It was something she wasn't expecting, but she held her own in the ring… Unless it was against that bitch, Asuka.
"Mandy, wait up," Mandy's pissed off march stopped momentarily at the sound of Sonya Deville's voice coming from behind her.
Mandy sighed heavily. Sonya never let her alone for longer than five seconds, and it got on her nerves every single day. She wasn't good at taking hints, as Mandy found out almost as soon as she gave Sonya the time of day the first time around.
"Sonya," Mandy addressed the taller woman with half a smile. "Thanks for your help out there with Asuka. Much appreciated."
Sonya raised her arms at her sides. "What are you talking about, babe? You said you wanted Asuka all to yourself. So I let you do your thing out there."
Mandy rolled her eyes. "You should've known to step in the second she put me in the Asuka Lock. I mean, seriously, why do I even put up with you?"
"Mand, don't talk like that," Sonya set a steady hand on Mandy's shoulder. "You know I got your back. Look, I fucked up by not coming out to help."
Mandy shook her head slowly. "You really fucked me out there."
"I know, and I'm sorry," Sonya shifted her hand to rest on Mandy's hip. "Look, I can make it up to you, ok? I'll ask Shane for a match against Asuka next week. Then I can kick her ass twice as hard for both of us. Is that cool?"
Mandy smirked. Sonya's eagerness to impress her was almost too much. Almost. But when you had an angry, ex-MMA fighter willing to do your bidding, Mandy knew better than to tell Sonya to go away.
Mandy fluttered her eyelashes. "You'd do that for me? Sonya, you're so sweet. I could kiss you, really."
Sonya smiled. She leaned in, hoping to finally get to kiss the stunning blonde woman after weeks as her personal muscle, but Mandy stuck her hand out to stop her before she got close enough to try again.
"Not actually kiss you," Mandy said. "You haven't beaten Asuka yet. Maybe if you make that bitch tap, I'll think about it."
Sonya nodded her head slowly. She offered half a smile, then dropped her head slightly.
Mandy rolled her eyes. "Hey," she lifted Sonya's chin until she made eye contact with her again. "I'll let you give me a foot massage. I know how much you like that."
Sonya snickered. "I only do it 'cause you like it, babe. Same reason I buy you coffee and doughnuts every Friday."
"Aww, so sweet," Mandy turned to walk away; Sonya quickly joined her side. "But I am serious, Sonya. I want that foot massage. Don't be afraid to really get in there. I've been having cramps all day."
"Yes, ma'am. Anything else you need?" Sonya asked obediently.
Mandy scoffed to herself. "Typical," she thought. "This girl is so desperate to get me to bed she'll do anything I ask. If she wasn't so good at kicking people's heads off, I would've cut her loose months ago." She sighed heavily, giving Sonya the biggest puppy dog eyes she could summon. "Well, since you asked," Mandy said out loud. "I could use a bottle of water and some tea. That would make me feel so much better after you forgot to help me."
Sonya nodded her head quickly. "Sure thing, babe," she leaned in for a kiss again. This time, Mandy turned her head away at the last second, making Sonya connect her lips with Mandy's cheek instead. Sonya chuckled nervously. "You'll have to let me kiss you one day."
"We're not a couple, Sonya, I don't have to let you do anything," Mandy reminded with a sassy smirk. "But… If you do manage to beat Asuka…"
"Yeah?" Sonya asked eagerly.
"I'll think about it," Mandy opened the door to the women's locker room. "Wait here. Make sure no one walks in on me, ok?"
"You don't need any help?" Sonya joked.
Mandy cocked an eyebrow. "Oh? You want to help me shower and change?"
"I mean… I don't want to seem too eager," Sonya stated.
"Too late for that." Mandy mused. She smiled and shook her head. "You need to learn that no means no, Sonya."
"You haven't said no though," Sonya said.
Mandy stepped into the locker room. "No," she said over her shoulder, but made sure to start pulling off her top before the metallic door shut behind her.
Sonya's cheeks flushed a light hue of pink. She chuckled slightly. Sonya really didn't think Mandy was into her, but almost stripping in front of her had to be a good sign, right?
Mandy carelessly tossed her top at her duffel bag. "Jesus, I'm sore." She mumbled, feeling her shoulder start to cramp thanks to Asuka's finisher. "Might as well have that hopeless idiot rub that out too. She's lucky she's good at something, for once."
Outside the locker room, Sonya stood guard in case anyone tried walking in while Mandy changed. She wasn't having any trouble as of yet, but she knew Mandy would be livid if she let someone in.
"Only I'm allowed to see her naked," Sonya thought to herself with a chuckle. "Or, whenever she lets me, I guess. Hopefully that happens when I beat Asuka next week."
Out of the corner of her eye, Sonya saw Carmella eyeing her. She turned in the smaller woman's direction, preparing herself for a possible fight.
"Yo, Mandy in there?" Carmella asked.
Sonya nodded her head. "Yeah, got a problem with that?"
"Jeez, calm down. Just wonderin' why you was standin' out here." Carmella shook her head. "How long 'til blondie's out of the shower?"
Sonya settled a bit. She knew Carmella wasn't usually a pain in the ass to Mandy, so she really didn't have a major reason to be concerned about her intentions.
"She just stepped in," Sonya confirmed. "She usually takes an hour."
Carmella groaned frustratingly. "Ugh, fine. Just tell her to hurry. See ya around, Sony."
"Bye," Sonya said as Carmella skipped away. 'Sony' felt like a weird nickname for her, but Carmella insisted on using it. Sonya didn't think Carmella was a bad person, so she really didn't mind it.
Mandy stepped out into the hallway. Sonya was there, standing guard like Mandy left her.
"All set, gorgeous?" Sonya asked, scanning Mandy's new wardrobe of a skin tight t-shirt and a pair of grey leggings.
"I am. Did you talk to Shane?" Mandy questioned.
Sonya nodded her head. "Yeah, he walked by a little while ago. The main event for next week is Asuka and me. Isn't that great?"
Mandy's smirk melted into a frown. "The… The main event? Next week?"
Sonya grinned. "Yeah, isn't that great? The last match for next week's show is me making Asuka tap."
Mandy's temper flared inwardly, but she let it barely show on the surface as she gave a half hearted smile to her lackey.
"Great," she praised sarcastically. "Just great. Oh, by the way, I'm thinking of inviting EC3 to the room later. Unless that's a problem?"
Sonya frowned. "Well, I mean…"
"What's the issue, Sonya?" Mandy asked, knowing the kind of effect this was having on Sonya.
"Wasn't I supposed to, ya know, give you a foot rub and stuff? But, I don't have to, I guess…" Sonya shrugged, feeling slight panic embrace her heart.
Mandy smiled. "That's right. My favorite tag team partner was going to rub my feet. I'll make sure to tell Ethan to buzz off then."
Sonya giggled. "Shut up. I'm your only tag partner."
Mandy placed her hand on the side of Sonya's face. She rolled her eyes when the Italian woman's face burned red. Luckily, Sonya hadn't seen.
"The best," Mandy said, feeling herself nearly vomit at her own comment.
"Oh, Sonya, that feels so good," Mandy moaned, pinching her lip between her teeth.
Sonya gripped Mandy's foot firmly, digging her thumbs into the sole and rubbing out any knots she had. Mandy's feet didn't actually ache as much as she was selling them up to be, but she didn't mind Sonya thinking so.
Sonya set Mandy's foot down. She began massaging her calves, remembering that she enjoyed that as well. Mandy sighed happily, closing her eyes and relaxing into the pillow she was resting against. Sonya ran her legs further up Mandy's leg, until he came to her upper thigh.
Mandy, annoyed on the inside, smiled and pulled her leg away. "Little handsy tonight, are we?"
Sonya dropped her head. "Sorry, Mandy. Just thought-"
"No, I understand," Mandy sat up, crossing her legs under herself. "But you also need to understand that, as of right now, neither of us are doing very well in WWE, are we?"
Sonya shook her head.
"Exactly, so why should we waste our time with things like that when we could be getting to bed so we're up sooner so we can go to the gym and improve ourselves so we can take SmackDown over?" Mandy asked.
Sonya shrugged. "I… I guess that makes sense. But why do you want me to massage you then?"
"So I'm at one hundred percent, silly," Mandy set her hand on Sonya's thigh, knowing that a simple gesture like that was a golden ticket to get Sonya to do whatever she wanted. "Do you really want me to be injured when I go to the gym tomorrow?"
Sonya, eyes locked on Mandy's hand, struggled to find the correct words to speak. "I… I don't think so."
"Great," Mandy pulled her hand away. "Now, how about we get some rest? Since you did such a brave thing and offered to fight Asuka next week, I'll let you keep me warm tonight."
Sonya's head snapped up. "R-Really?"
Mandy smirked. "Hurry up and find out before I change my mind. Keep your hands appropriate, understand?"
Sonya burrowed underneath the covers with Mandy pressed against her body. Mandy guided Sonya's hands so they rested on her stomach.
"Any lower or any higher and you're sleeping alone. Understood?" Mandy asked.
Sonya chuckled quietly. "Yeah… Yeah, I understand."
Mandy rolled her eyes for what felt like the hundredth time that night and clicked off the light. If leading this dumb muscle head along didn't pay off in the end, Mandy was going to lose her mind.
