A/N: Yep, so I'm still procrastinating. This idea came from my own experiences of working with small children, just another silly little story for you to enjoy(?)

Robbie looked up as Michael and Jackie walked into the room: Jackie looking distinctly amused and Michael looking decidedly unamused. It took him a few moments to realise why; when he did though he speedily ducked his head to avoid being seen as his tried desperately not to laugh.
Robbie didn't look up until he heard the door to Michael's office slam shut and then he dropped all pretence of work and fell about laughing. He looked up at Jackie who was struggling to keep a lid on her own laughter, "What happened?" he asked, gasping for breath.
"We took a break in a coffee shop," Jackie said, her voice breaking every so often as she tried to contain her laughter, "there was a small boy there who took exception to Michael..." she was forced to stop there as she was overcome by a fit of the giggles.
It didn't take long for Robbie to work out what had happened from Jackie's description and the sight of Michael looking slightly dishevelled and covered in baby food.
He looked up at Jackie's deep intake of breath, "We had barely been there for five minutes when he took exception to Michael and flung his food." She shook her head, "I never knew small children had such good aim, his mother was horrified," she added, dissolving into laughter again at the memory. Robbie snickered, but both quickly turned serious as Michael stepped out of his office again.
"All right, it was all very funny I'm sure," Michael said, not impressed, though Robbie thought he could discern a small spark of amusement in his eyes. "Let's not forget we have a job to do," Michael reminded them, he looked down at his clothes and ran a hand through his hair. Only to end up covered with bits of the sticky mush that still clung to his hair. Robbie repressed a snicker and he noticed Jackie stayed steadfastly staring at the file in front of her.
"I'm going to get cleaned up," Michael muttered finally, "do try and behave yourselves while I'm gone," Michael added as the two detectives burst into laughter again.
