Prologue:
(Annabeth's POV)
"Stop her!"
"Thief!"
"Get her!"
WTF! It's just a diamond encrusted watch! It's not like I stole a tank from Briggs! I see an opening in an abandoned warehouse and I go in. I look back to see the MPs of Central City are still following me. In the warehouse, boxes are scattered everywhere, they may assist in my escape. Damnit! The MPs are coming at me from all sides, forcing me farther into the warehouse. My back is to a wall so it leaves me no other choice but to use my alchemy.
I use the circle on my Left hand which condenses Ice into a huge 5 ft. thick wall. It buys me some time to look over the wall my back is against. I can see a moldy spot with many cracks in it so a take a chance and kick it. Fortunately it breaks and leads outside, but before I even take a step, I'm grabbed around the waist from behind.
"Why don't you come home with me tonight, then the real fun can begin." The person grabbing my waist says in a VERY perverted voice.
"WTF YOU PERVERTED ASSHOLE, HELL NO! GO JUMP OFF THE BIGGEST FUCKING CLIFF YOU CAN FIND AND DON'T EVEN THINK TO SHOW YOUR PERVERTED ASS HERE AGAIN!" I shout so loud I'm pretty sure they can hear me at briggs. "Oh come on, don't be like that annie." Oh that's it! I break free from his grasp and turn around and do "The finger" in his face and shout "DON'T FUCKING CALL ME ANNIE!" Right after saying that I repeatedly kick him where it hurts 3 times and sprint out the hole, only to find MPs starting to surround me. Shit.
The MP closes to me grabs my hand so I slap that bastard in the face and make a run for the closes ally. I climb up a latter and jump from building to building. I better watch my step, these roofs don't seem to stable.
Then, the MPs who were tailing me from below started Shooting at me. I stumble while dodging a bullet and drop the watch, which falls into a crack the roof I'm on. God fucking dammit! I change course and jump off the side opposite to the MPs. Thankfully the entrance to the building is on this side (well at least a window is). I break the window. The mission is to get in, get the watch, and get out, all without being seen by any possible occupants.
I look around and see that it looks just like a normal house, only a little more run down. This room looks like a dining room, but the watch isn't here so I move on to the next room, which appears to be a living room. There it is! Sure enough in the center of the room is the Diamond encrusted watch. I walk over and reach down. As I'm about to touch it, I hear a loud, ear-piercing, fear and pain filled, animalistic scream that makes me stop in my tracks.
I quickly put on the watch, its surprising comfortable and looks great with my dark chocolate colored hair. I remember the scream and rush to the stairs, I run down and jump the last 4 steps and make a shocking discovery.
