They Drank Flavored Water?
A companion piece for 5 hour Energy. During Future's end Chakotay orders water.
Dedicated to all those people who like flavored water
Kathryn and Chakotay had been walking along the boardwalk looking for a piece of 24th century technology. It was a rather warm day, and as they passed a beverage stall Chakotay decided to have a bottle of water.
"Afternoon."
"Yes, how may I help you sir?"
"One bottle of water please."
"What flavor?"
Chakotay looked at Kathryn.
"Did you say flavor?"
"Yes, would you like orange, raspberry, blueberry, lime, lemon, watermelon, kiwi, banana strawberry, strawberry, peach, tangerine, mango, pineapple,apple, cherry, fruit punch, grape or plain?"
Chakotay's jaw dropped.
"And would you like to add vitamins to that for an additional 2.00?"
After several minutes of thinking and reviewing the list of possibility Chakotay decided on a raspberry flavored water. He took the water and continued to walk along the boardwalk with Kathryn. He opened the bottle and took a sip.
"Kathryn you have to try this."
Kathryn took a sip of the water.
"Chakotay it tastes like raspberries."
Intrigued Kathryn returned to the same stall and ordered some water for herself. The clerk repeated the list and she decided on a watermelon flavor.
She turned to Chakotay as she took a good sized gulp. "Well Chakotay, I learned two things today. One that they drank flavored water in the 20th century, and that watermelon flavored water is terrible!"
Just then she saw another stand and raced over to it.
