Mrs. Swann and her exotic night
Tonight was the most exhilarating nights of Elizabeth's life. It was the night before the eve of her wedding to William Turner, the black she fell in love with. But, to make things better, her girls had planned an exciting night for them. They were going to their friend Wendy's house for a little party. When Liz got there she could only see a dim light on through the windows down stairs. When she reached the door she rustled her skirt around to make it look more presentable and fluffed her hair, which was in a bun. Then Liz knocked lightly on the door to be respectable. Her friends Wendy, Sharon, and Felicity open the door and practically flung Liz in and slammed the door shut. Her friends rushed her into Wendy's bedroom and shut the door quickly. Liz who was so frizzled from all the rush tried to catch her breath. Her friends smiled at her as she almost practically spun around in the room from being dizzy.
" What is happening?" asked Liz
" We have you in Wendy's bedroom so we can make you up to go out tonight. We are actually going to a bar in the "lower east side". So sit down so we can get started" said Felicity who shoved Liz down on the vanity seat.
The girls started working furiously. They were in such a rush! They did Liz's make up and her hair and when they were done she ended up looking like a whore from Tortuga. She was very nervous about going out in public looking in such a way.
