Warnings : SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH! Or yaoi/shonen ai as some call it…
Spoilers : None!
Pairing (s) : SasuNaru
Note : Sasuke and Naruto are 17 in this fic.
Naruto stared straight ahead, and hugged his knees with a smile on his face. It was night and the stars and moon were up. All around him were sounds of night creatures and the slight rustling of leaves when the wind picked up. Naruto wasn't wearing his shinobi uniform. Instead, he was wearing plain old normal clothes consisting of a black t-shirt and black shorts. The day wasn't particularly cold but Naruto still shivered when a small breeze blew at his tanned skin.
Everyone else in the village was asleep without a care in the world. Naruto exhaled and held himself tighter. No one knew he was sitting at the entrance of Konoha, wishing and waiting for someone. He hadn't bothered to tell anyone what he was doing because he knew they wouldn't understand. They always assumed that the things he did were stupid or not at all that important.
News had informed him that Sasuke had not returned from his mission with the members of his team. The others were safe but Sasuke was still missing. When the Hokage told him about it she had expected him to break down, or go do something hot-headed, such as rushing out of the village to search for Sasuke. What shocked everyone was that Naruto was not heart broken, nor did he take rash actions.
It was strange. Instead of doing the expected, he remained in Konoha, distancing himself from everyone. Slowly, they had stopped questioning him after a few days. Even Sakura and Kakashi did.
This was his nineteenth day of waiting. If someone knew what he was doing, they'd have expected him to give up by now. But they wouldn't understand. Naruto didn't even understand it himself. Somehow he just knew. He knew that Sasuke would come back. Until then, Naruto would wait for him every night at the entrance of Konoha.
He'd be the first one to greet Sasuke. Smiling at the thought, Naruto rested his head atop his knees. Fatigue was slowly washing over him as he gave out a loud yawn. Ocean blue eyes began to dull and droop. It had been a long time since the blonde last had a good sleep. Still, he'd wait for Sasuke to return to him. He'd wait and wait. Always.
"Naruto…"
"S-sasuke!"
Right... I was in a weird mood. I think this fic is horrible. Do please review (I like criticism!). I'd appreciate it a lot!
