-Do take note that this story is written in such that all characters are felines-
A caramel tomcat was waiting at the window ledge, purring in content as he rubbed his head against the frame.
The tomcat was a gorgeous one. He had beautiful blue eyes that resembled a lovely lapis stone, along with caramel coloured fur. His pelt had white stripes at random spots, which formed roses on each side. A bush of fur covered one of his eyes, which was unusual for a cat. He had once gone to pet hairdresser to cut off the patch of fur covering his eye. He remembered clawing at the hairdresser in pure anger when they attempted to hold him still. Since then, he only received tiny trims to ensure that it was neat.
BOOM!
Wales had gotten used to the thunder, but the case couldn't be said for his friend. A white-blueish fluffy kit named Sophie was crouched on the floor. Her tiny paws were hidden underneath her, and her fur stood on its end. Poor kit, even her gorgeous fluffy fur was getting too messy. Those beautiful emerald eyes were dull with fear. She poofed up even more, her beautiful, long curls standing on its end.
Wales had to admit, he did have a crush on the younger feline for five years ever since they moved in. They often hang out with a Maine coon, Klaus and another yellow tomcat named Julian that lived in a mansion not too far from here.
Another bolt of lightning flashed in the sky. The white cat squeaked in shock as she hid her face under her fluffy mess of a tail.
He was concerned. The tom hopped down from the window ledge and onto the ground next to her. He sat down next to her, waving his long tail in the air. "Hey there. Are you alright?" he asked.
She turns away and let out a small huff. "Yes, I am..."
Judging by her tone, she was probably lying due to the amount insincerity evident in it. She could not help but turn back to the brown feline. He sure was a gorgeous one and felt herself being captivated by his memorising gaze.
Suddenly, thunder could be heard again. She squeaked and pressed her face towards Wales's pelt. The tomcat was taken by surprised but his next move did surprise the other feline. His rough tongue started to travel down her cheek lightly, earning some mewls from the other cat in satisfaction.
The older feline turned his friend's head up. "I'll be here with you to brave through any storm."
He smiled and stared dreamily into her forest green eyes, light reflecting off her green ones, causing them to shine beautifully. She giggled like a little kit before blushing, though it was not that obvious due to her having thick fur. She smiled assuringly at him and cuddled up close to him, dipping her head a little to get some rest.
Wales.
She is certain that he won't leave.
They will definitely brace the thunderstorm, and there will be a gorgeous rainbow at the end.
So my friend decided to write a Walesshipping fic featuring the Cetus duo as kitties, but she was lazy to make a new fanfic account. So I edited her draft to post on my account. I'm not used to writing fluffy one shots and feline fics, but I tried.
Storytime. My friend and I met a few years ago on DeviantART and Fanfiction and became buddies just because we lived in the same country. -shot- We met again in polytechnic and we were like, holy shit, you like MFB? Me too! *screeching intensifies*
We only care for Team Excalibur (sorry main characters, we don't like you that much) and ship Walesshipping hardcore. Best friends forever. THIS IS FATE I TELL YOU, FATE. *RUNS DOWN A CLIFF*
Right now we are in the midst of writing more Excalibur fics and attempting to revive this dead ass fandom. I'm serious.
