Kagome groaned and rolled over, she still hadn't been able to living on her own. Her grandmother had past away a couple months ago and she took to living in her old house.
Her mother thought it would be good for her to get away, and this was the perfect opportunity. She had just started living in the house a couple days ago. She was still not used to it.
The house was big and she felt lonely living there on her own. Maybe she should invest in getting a pet?
Taking a deep breath Kagome rolled over again, trying to fall back asleep but shoot strait up in bed hearing a crash from next door.
Blinking she sighed , " I give up!" She didn't think she was going to fall back asleep now that she was wide awake.
Getting up she glanced at the clock, today was going to be her first day of her new high school. Fun that was going to be. More gossip filled girls, and hormone filled boys. Nothing to be thrilled about.
Going to the chair by the window she opened the curtain letting the sun shine through. She gave a small smile at the scenery. It was much better than the shrine.
This place had an old Italian type feel. It was beautiful. The air even seemed cleaner here compared to Tokyo...than again anywhere was cleaner then Tokyo.
Glancing outside one more time, she gave a soft smile before turning to her desk. Her school unifrom as already laid out for her. She grabbed it and made her way to the bathroom.
She might as well start getting ready if she couldn't go back to sleep.
Kagome smoothed out her skirt, she was all ready for school now, her school things were all put together and now all she needed was food.
Which she didn't have. Kagome hadn't had time to go shopping yet.
"Ok...so buying something on the way it is then." Kagome muttered, as she grabbed her wallet. She had some money on a card. She needed to start finding a part time job soon. Kagome knew her mother would give her money but she didn't want her mother to pay for too much.
"Alright...I'm already to go..." She picked up her house-key off the table and her bag that was sitting on the chair. She grabbed them both and made her way out the door.
Once outside Kagome turned around and locked her door but turned around when she heard a woman, "Are you the one who is now living here?" Turning around Kagome was greeted with a smiling older woman. She had brown hair that was short but not so short she looked bad, her hair reached about to her chin if not a little longer.
"Yes, I am. This house used to belong to my grandmother...were you acquainted with her?" Kagome asked, giving the woman a small smile back.
The woman's smile widened, "Hai! I hoped you were a relative and not a new family all together. My name is Emiko Niwa, I'm one of your neighbors!"
Kagome didn't know it, but with such a small meeting her quiet life was forever changed.
Yuki Note: A new fic that I had on my computer saved, but I am trying not to hoard cause of when I did hoard my flash-drives broke...and don't want to loose a lot for my fics again TAT
