Jennifer Jareau was the communications/media laiason for the FBI's Behavior Analysis Unit in Quanitico, Virginia. She had blonde hair to her shoulders and eyes the color of the ocean. She was always seen dressed professionally and never seen without a cup of coffee in hand. She has a five-year-old son named Henry David Jareau. Her team is like one big family and they treat each other as such. JJ (Jennifer Jareau) was the glue that held the team together. When they heard she had died in a fire, they were devastated. After the accident the once-great team disapated.

Penelope Garcia quit the moment she found out and is still living in Quantico with Henry. She didn't want to leave because she didn't believe JJ was really dead. Spencer Reid moved back tobhis home-town in Las Vegas. Derek Morgan moved in with his sisters in Chicago. David Rossi moved to Southern Oregon knowing he'd find green everywhere. Aaron Hotchner moved to San Fransisco with his twelve year old son Jack. Emily Prentiss moved around a lot at first, but then she settled herself in Los Angelos.

As Emily stands there one year later staring into her unit chief's eyes, her own start to water but she smiles. She hasn't seen him for a year, and seeing him now brought back harsh memories.

" You cut your hair." Hotch broke the silence. She nodded and he continued." I like it."

" Thanks," She replied. " Would you like to go to Starbucks or someplace and talk?"

He just nodded. When they walked into the small building the once comforting smell of coffee, now brought them sad memories.

" Two coffees please." Aaron hesitabtly said to the to the red headed woman standing behind the counter. After they got their coffees they sat down at a table together.

" So when was the last time you had a cup of coffee?" Emily asked him as she offered a wan smile.

" Since the accident?" She nodded. " This would be the first
