in a long white dress jumping off the balcony, but before she would hit the ground, she would disappear. Those people have died, their blood covering them like a red veil. No one dares to live anywhere near the manor anymore. The whole neighborhood is deserted like a

town.
A young girl with plain black hair and dark brown eyes looks over her shoulder, narrowing them at the trio of girls whispering at the manor. She sighs, shaking her head before grabbing the handle of her school bag and walking out brushing past the aforementioned girls just in time for one of them to say something that catches her attention.
"One of the kids at the school next over was dared to enter the manor. The group of kids never saw him come out, but they saw something red hit one of the windows and him screaming."
She scoffs, rolling her eyes, and she walks home, her mind full of the rumors. There weren't real, the witnesses were just

themselves believe the rumors and their mind put tricks on them. Their deaths? Coincidences. Simple as that. She stops outside her front door in the deserted neighborhood, sparing a quick glance before rushing in just as she felt a gaze reach her back.
The boy's death was a recent one. The girl

had decided to devote herself to deducing the rumors with her intelligent yet ignorant mind, brushing them with reasonable explanations. But the boy's death, she could not give a reason for. There was a bet, the group of kids he had left behind heard him scream, and something red –most likely blood- hit the window.
A prank. Yes, that must be it. He was bullied by that group of kids, was he not? So that must be it! He wanted to scare them in revenge for their relentless torture over the years. But… why has he not return? It's been days since that night, yet he has not come forth.
It puzzled her and her skeptic mind. But what puzzled her the most was why they said he
