AN: Ok so this is just going to be a really long rant with a bit of a drabble at the end. They killed Riley. First TJ and Everett's baby, now Riley. Plus Rush and Telford being the jackasses they are well, you can all see why Changing Destiny isn't moving along so quickly. Hell I just got done crying over Riley. Damned writers! Anyway…. Everett put his hands over his mouth. Riley forced his eyes to meet his. He nodded once and Everett pressed down slightly and Riley fought the urge to panic. He didn't want Everett to think he had changed his mind. He was in so much pain. He was hurt and trapped. He needed Everett to do this so they could get back to Destiny before they jumped. He could feel his breathing slowing.
He took his last breath and watched as Everett started crying. He didn't want to leave, but he had no choice. It was his time to go. He had escaped death before, but not this time. This time it was meant to be.
'I'm so sorry' he thought before his world turned black, the last image he saw was of the tears trickling down Everett's cheek.
