When Zeref was born, his fate was set out for him. The dark flame that surrounded his body held prof to it all. He was a dark fire dragon slayer, a dragon slayer that was bound to turn dark. Dragon slayers were not common at that time, but could be identified when born with such power. The dragons that roamed the land would usually come to help the child to control their element.
When his parents died with the birth of his baby brother, he was devastated. His brother survived meticulously, but Zeref didn't want to , see him for a week as his flame killed their parents. Zeref's dark flame weakened their parents, but the baby killed them. Soon enough, he came to his senses and visited him. He was nameless, their parents were too happy to care about a name, so when the pink hair stood out to him, he named his brother Natsu, like the summer. His name was also named after his magic, a fire that burns throughout the summer, a fire strong enough to represent summer.
After a few years, they set out to fend for themselves. Their dragons had not come after them, so maybe it was a different type of magic. On the way, they met a few children around the same age as them other than 3 babies that they found. They had the same problem, but they were abandoned when dragons didn't come after them. Apparently they didn't want monsters as family. They treated each other like family, caring for each other until one day they separated after traveling through the eclipse gate. The two brothers traveled again, until they met Igneel. He said that the others were fine, and their dragons were training them. Apparently they had to travel in time to meet the dragons due to Acnologia. A dragon they needed to defeat. Igneel trained both of them, and made sure Zeref was always safe from
evil. That didn't help, until one day he met a girl that told them to go to Fairy Tail where they would help him. A few years later, Igneel disappeared. The brothers went to Fairy Tail where they made friends and bonded with each other. Here, Zeref and Natsu felt safe and they were never influenced by evil. Zeref met a girl named Mavis, and things were good after that. That was until their never ending adventure started, when Natsu walked in with a blond girl with brown eyes, eyes that shone with sadness but warmth. Never did anyone know, she was hiding secrets meant to be told overtime.
Okay heres the deal. I wrote the story yesterday on my phone because Im a weird person, than I was about to copy it to transfer to this page but me being the stupid girl I am, pressed cut. There was no way to revive my file because I didnt save it and it was gone forever. So i rewrote it again. Sigh. I write stories on my phone because its more convinent for me and my computer is a mess. I know this was supposed to be a one shot but if you guys like it and want me to continue, tell me by giving me rviews and i might do it along with A,H&D. Thanks for reading again!
