Gabi's POV
Dear Diary,
Today is the first day of High School Junior Year! I am very nervous, what will the teachers be like? My mom and I had to move from New York to Albuquerque because of her job. I miss all my friends and my ex-boyfriend. We had to break up because he didn't want to keep a long-distance relationship. Anyways, it's 6:35, the sun is shining and I smell pancakes... I think I'm gonna go and change. I'll write in again soon!!

I went downstairs wearing a baby blue skirt that went up to my the middle of my thighs with a matching shirt and sat at the kitchen table. "Mom, what if no one likes me?" I asked randomly.
"That's a silly question Gabriella, I'm sure everyone will like you!"
"I know mom but I'm just nervous." Ms.Montez smiled at her daughter and pulled her into a hug and said "Sweety, everything will go fine, and my company promised not to make us move
again. Now go, you don't want to be late for the first day of school do you?"
I stood and kissed my mom on the cheek, she always knows what to do or say and she always gives me a boost of confidence, I don't know what I'd do without her, I thought as I gathered my things and went out the door.
I finally got to East High. I was 10 minutes late! But thankfully I wasn't the only late one. There was another girl who looked like she was African American and a boy with the most amazing blue eyes. The girl is named Taylor, she was really nice and I think we'll be great friends! The guy with the blue eyes... I don't know what his name is, but I hope we'll be close! I said in my mind as I headed off to homeroom to begin the day.
Dear Diary,
The day is going by pretty well. I had a teacher named Mrs. Darbus for homeroom, she is drama obsessed. Taylor and I become close, she introduced some of her friends to me... Sharpay and Kelsi, they both are also very nice. I don't know why, but Taylor said to stay away from Troy, the blued eyed boy that was also late for school. I found out he was a jock and he is dating the head cheerleader, Kayla. Troy sat behind me during math, a class we had together, the whole time I was squirming in my seat because I felt a pair of eyes on my back. I lost interest in Troy anyway, he was so rude to a few freshman students, taking away their lunch money or just plain pushing them around for no reason. And on top of that, I have a small crush on Sharpays' brother Ryan. He is kind of cute. Anyways, I'm gonna go and finish my math homework and I'll try writing in again later. TTYL diary!
