Harry sighed as Ginny's contraction ended. This was the fourth birth he had been here for. However it was easily the worst. His child was being born 9 weeks early and he was terrified. Destroying the world's most evil wizard; fine. Changing nappy; fine! This; not fine.

Ginny gripped his hand. He knew from past experience that this would be a long time. Had been with all the others, but this one wasn't like the rest. He could already tell. Harry started muttering words of encouragement to his wife.

3 hours 48 minutes later

Harry James Potter held a tiny baby in his arms. He was right; this little boy wasn't like the rest. Slowly his finger traced a small cut going down his eye. The doctor entered the room.

"Time of birth: 9:47 pm on the seventh of February. Weight; 3lb 6oz. I'm sorry sir but your son will have to go into the special care unit of the hospital for at least a night in case of any health problems."

Harry gulped "Of course. Anything to help him." The doctor gently picked up the child in his arms and turned to the door. Just before opening it he turned and asked a simple question.

"And what is this little guy's name?"

"Ashley Remus Potter" it was Ginny who spoke.

R&R please!

If anyone's wondering he's called Ashley because of Arthur Weasley but calling him Arthur is too simple and if you can't figure out why Remus read the books!
