"Wow great going Yug! That man never stood a chance against you!"
Joey shouted as his best friend walked over after claiming his prize. He
put away the locater card he had just gotten and took a closer look at the
monster card he had just won. With only 1800 attack points and one special
ability, Yugi was surprised that this card was the most powerful card in
his opponent's deck.
Yami had already let Yugi take over. On Yugi's walk over to where Joey was waiting for him he tripped. The card he was holding flew out of his hand, but froze in mid-air and began glowing. Soon the card disappeared and a girl that looked about sixteen was standing in front of him.
Leaning over to help Yugi up she asked, "Who are you?" She didn't seem to realize that anything strange had just happened.
"I'm Yugi Muttou. Who are you and where did you come from?"
"I'm Paikea Bseiso. I don't really know where I came from... but wait I've seen you before. I saw you dueling just a minute ago. You must have won."
"What do mean I must have won? If you were watching me duel you would have seen that I had won."
"Well, I was only watching for a short time."
"Wait, Yug, doesn't she look like that monster you defeated in the beginning of the duel?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, your right, she also looks like the card that I won." Yugi replied.
"Well, that's because I am that card. But its a long story."
Yugi exchanged confused glances with Joey before saying, "We don't have anywhere to be. So go ahead tell us."
Taking a deep breath Paikea began her story. "A few years ago Maximillion Pegasus went on a quest around the world of a way to bring his loved one back from the dead. He came to my home in New Zealand and saw me. I don't really know the details but he pulled his hair away from his face. Where there should have been a left eye there was not. In its place was a very strange looking eye made of gold. An extremely bright light shone from this 'eye' and the next thing I know I am but a hologram in a duel."
"So you're a card?" Joey looked over at Yugi to see his reaction but Yugi just stared at the girl.
"Well Yeah, I guess I am." Paikea laughed.
