"Sesshomaru of the Western Lands"
Come hear a tale,
From five hundred years past.
About a demon lord
The most feared in all Japan.
Simply known to all,
As Lord Sesshomaru of the West.
A stony, mysterious façade,
That never fades.
Eyes of molten amber,
And long hair of the finest silver.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Cold as ice,
A frosty personality has he.
His emotions are hidden,
For they area sign of weakness to demons.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
The type of person who needs no one,
Yet has followers all the same.
He need not go to anyone,
For every ally comes to him in his supposed time of need.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
An enemy to the human race
Because of this dog demon's father.
Inutaisho abandoned Sesshomaru's mother,
And became the mate of a human.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
His father died,
Leaving behind the Western Lands.
His full-blooded son ascending the throne,
While his mate and half-demon son are banished from the lands.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Taking in a ward,
A human child no less.
He continues to puzzle us,
Throwing off any judgments made upon him.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
His father betrayed him,
Giving him the weaker, healing sword.
The sword that kills a hundred in one swing?
T'was given to the half-demon brother, InuYasha.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Always fighting his half-brother,
Trying to take back what is rightfully his.
"Why did father leave me the Tensagia?
For it is weak, and this Sesshomeru deserves the strongest of the fang swords."
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Then one day an enemy came,
Though try as he might, Sesshomaru failed.
But who was to come to his aid?
None other than his despised half-brother InuYasha.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Both fought valiantly,
Conquering their foe.
Sesshomaru learning
Why each wields their swords.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Understanding now why he holds Tensagia,
He no longer strives to hold both swords.
Nothing left to fight about,
Nothing except the normal brotherly struggles.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
They shall unite once more,
Fighting a common enemy of all of Japan.
Maybe this fight will truly show him the light,
Illuminating what is missing in his life.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
Two maroon stripes on each cheek and wrist,
Showing his power.
Blue crescent moon,
A symbol of his lordship.
That is my lord.
My Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands.
