Near let out a shout as he got shoved into a small room. "Light! L! No!" He shouted as loud as his quiet voice would allow him as he banged on the door.

Soon, a squirrel slid down through a vent, screaming in horror.

"WAIT! MY APPLE PIE!" She screamed, falling on her face. The pie soon slid down as well, landing on her back.

"My baby!" The squirrel cooed, taking the pie off of her back and rolling over. Near stared at her in confusion, rubbing his head.

"Who are you?" He asked as the squirrel snarfed down the pie.

"…. My name is Scarlet. And I liek pie, like I liek mudkips." She said with an insane grin. Near stared at her in confusion.

"…. My name is Near…." He said quietly.

"Lemme guess, your friends pushed you in here to?" Scarlet said.

"How did you know?" Near asked.

"Same thing here." Scarlet said.

"Oh…. Well….." Near rubbed his head. "What are we going to do?"

"….. Wanna play cards?" Scarlet said, pulling out a random deck of cards.

"Err… Okay?" Near said.

"OOH!" Scarlet squeaked. Near fell over in shock.

"We should make dirty noises while we do!" Scarlet squealed.

"What?" Near asked in confusion.

"Because! That's what they want! So why not?" Scarlet said.

"…. Fine…"

~15 minutes later~

"Uhn! Uhn!"

"YES! YES!"

"Uhhmy!"

"UHNN!"

Sora looked back at his friends Matt and Mello. "Let me down a little more guys! I can almost see!" He said. Matt and Mello were lowering Sora carefully down the vent, due to the fact that L proceeded to swallow the key to the room and they couldn't get a locksmith for another 2 hours.

"Oh! Yes! There! Yeesssss!"

Sora's eyes widened as he adjusted, turning on his camera and peering through the opening. Scarlet looked up from her card game with Near.

"Oh. Haiiii… Can you bring us some board games? We're bored." Scarlet said innocently.

"Wait, weren't you two-?"

Near looked up. "Huh? Weren't we what? We've just been playing card games." He said. Mello let go of Matt, causing the two to slide down the chute.

"Ow! Matt! Get your elbow out of my ribs!" Sora groaned, shoving Matt off of himself. Mello looked down at the chute.

"Shiiiitt…. Sorry guys! I'll throw down some board games and some bobby pins, okay?" Mello shouted down, running away.

Near groaned. "Goddamn it!" He shouted. Sora stared at him in shock.

"…. Near?"

"What?" Near snapped.

"Err… Got any two's?" Sora asked, peering over Scarlet's cards.

~20 minutes later~

"Your almost there!" Near said as Sora picked at the door with a bobby pin. His ear was against the door. Matt and Scarlet, meanwhile, were playing a friendly game of cards, and Matt was loosing all of his cigarettes.

"You know I won't actually smoke these, right?" Scarlet said.

"Then why did you want them!" Matt asked.

"…. Just to piss you off." Scarlet said with an evil grin. The door clicked and Sora grinned.

"Gooooottt iitttt~!" He sang. Sora swung the door open, revealing a naked L and Light together against the wall.

"Errrr…. And I'm closin' the doooorrrr….." Sora said, slowly shutting it. "Yeaaaaah, we're stayin' here for a while due to rabid dogs and cats breeding outside."
