I just saw Hunks & Homecoming and literally needed to write this.

Don't own Austin and Ally. Sadly.

Austin POV

I can't believe I didn't realize it before. How could I be so stupid?

I still like Ally.

I mean, I knew I liked her smile, and her laugh, and the way I feel sparks when our hands touched while playing the piano, but I didn't know I liked Ally. Come on! No one could be that smart.

I had to tell her.

Racing back to the practice room from Shredder's Beach Club (A/N: If this isn't actually the name, I spent time searching for it and I couldn't find it unless I actually saw the episode), I finally barge through the door. As I do so, Ally's playing Better Together, a song that means a lot to me. I finish playing for her, and also sing along a little. It was the perfect moment to tell her.

"Ally. I need to tell you something." I said as soon as I finished the lyric.

"What do you need?" She asked.

Just as I was about to talk, Gavin comes in with her whatever mocha from Starbucks.

"Hey Ally! I got you your..." I tune him out, trying to think of ways to murder him with objects in the room.

"You remembered!" I heard Ally say.

"Yeah." Gavin said. Pssh! What kind of a response is that?

"Sorry. Austin, you wanted to talk to me?" Ally asked.

"Yeah." I answered, "Privately." I looked at Gavin.

"I get it. I'm leaving." He went for the door.

"Gavin! Wait!" Ally said. What else does she need from him that I don't have?

"Can I have my mocha?" She asked, and he gave it to her. Okay. There's that. He closed the door.

"Okay. Ally." I started. How do you say, Hey, I'm still in love with you, even though we decided to stay friends.

"Really?" Ally asked me. Did I say that out loud?

"Yes, you did. You speak your mind, quite literally, when you're nervous." Ally responded, smiling wide.

I smiled back. "Well, what do you have to say about it?"

"I kind of also still liked you sorta." She said. That's all I needed to hear. I smiled, leaned in, and she did the same. The next thing you know my lips are on hers.

Gavin then decided it was time to come in. "Ally, I need to ask you something." He said, then seeing where we stood.

"Oh. I'm sorry to interrupt." He said.

"That's fine. What did you want to ask me?" She wondered.

"Oh. Um. The duet. Will you sing it with me?" He asked.

"Yeah. Maybe during homecoming." She replied. "You may want to find a date, though." She kept talking. I smiled at this comment. "I will be bringing a date, and I don't want to see you missing out of all the fun."

"I will do that." Gavin said, then left.

"So, who are you bringing to homecoming?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Oh, you know. Just this really hot, musically talented famous boy." I smiled, then kissed her again.

Now I have it all figured out. I don't like Ally.

I love her.

I feel soooooo much better now. I had to add Gavin in there because I really wanted to see him suffer. Have I mentioned that I wanted to murder him SOOOOOOOO bad?

Well, that's all! -veryimpatientfan
