Kim POV:
It was New Years Eve and everybody was at the dojo. Me and Jack were standing next to each other and for some reason everybody stayed separated from us and everybody else. We both didn't know why so we shrugged it off and focused on the clock. Everybody counted backwards when it got to 10. When we got to 0 everybody looked at Jack then at me.
" What are you doing? " Jack and I asked at the same time
" When the clock gets to midnight you have to kiss whoever you are next to that's why we all backed away from each other," Eddie explained to us. Jack and I looked at each other and then it hit us, they were waiting for us to kiss. I was excited on the inside but on the outside I hid the fact that I was happy so I said something I have never wanted to say, or at least I attempted to.
" Well you're waiting for nothi-," I was cut off by Jack's lips crashing into mine. Soon we heard Jerry scream " Finally they kissed !" then their was a dead silence. I got shivers down my spine and butterflies in my stomach as we kissed and I loved it. After about ten minutes we broke apart for air and we realized that everybody else was gone.
Jack POV:
When Eddie said we had to kiss I couldn't believe I forgot about that. What else could I do besides kiss her. I was excited and I could see that Kim was excited on the inside by the look in her eyes. So I grabbed her and kissed her and it felt great. Her tongue begged for entry and I gladly granted it. When we finally broke apart for air we saw nobody else in the dojo.
" Wow," was all Kim managed to say so I decided it was time to ask her what I wanted to ask since the day I met her.
"Kim will you be my girlfriend? "
" Yes! " she screamed and wrapped her arms around my neck so I wrapped my arms around her waist. We both knew that this relationship would last forever and so did our friends.
